It is a long train station. Good access to city and very convenient. Costs 3 euros.

Ticket machines here are difficult to use and often broken. You're better off getting the DB app to pay online.

4 ticket machines and a hundreds of tourists and airline passengers using them for the first time. Any hold ups at all lead to queues around the block. An absolute joke. Cologne would save more money in wasted hours by simply handing people a free ticket to the centre

Ok, the airport isnt huge - but therefore its simple and modern. Another plus point, unlike MUC, the ICEs pass the airport regularly. So far the service isnt bad (icl. WiFi, restrooms, special services personnel and customs) plus some shops. You get what you essentially need (they have 24h/d supermarket, restos/cafes etc), but thats all. They do have some events going from time to time.

Der Bahnhof ist ausgesprochen Kunden -orientiert aufgebaut auch für Rollstuhlfahrer und Menschen mit einer Behinderung überall zugänglich gestaltet !Klasse ! Sauberkeit wird dort meist auch großgeschrieben .Ein wirklich gelungenes Objekt !
