A restaurant in the center of Oberammergau, with nice cozy rooms. A very interesting menù, cooked really well. We took a coconut chicken and was great, we tasted the schnitzel with fried in crispy hazelnuts, really great. Even the gulash soup was cooked by a great chef. Congratulations we were really happy and the price was also competitive.

Hotel for dog owners. nice location downtown, good restaurant with bavarian food and one of the best burger in town. If you are hungry get the schweine haxen (pork leg).

I did not stay at the Hotel, but I did have a wonderful lunch at their restaurant. English speaking wait staff. The Dunkel bier was very tasty and their menu should satisfy the hungriest traveler. Don't forget a cappuccino before you ask for the bill. Not all outdoor seating is shaded, and sometimes the bees can be annoying, if you are sitting near the flowers, but these are not reasons to avoid having a delicious lunch. This is a pet friendly area, so don't be surprised if there is a hound or two relaxing under their owners table. Dogs ARE family members in Germany, so you will see them in many places where you would not see them in the USA. Pubs and restaurants are two of those places. This hotel is a dog friendly hotel, so I'm pretty sure that means rover can stay in your room, if you are staying the night.
