The view is amazing, the beds comfortable and the food was delicious! I would stay here e every time I was in the area.

Definitely the place to go to if you are on the lookout for some swabian cuisine in Böblingen! They have the best Spätzle in town!
I've never stayed at the hotel, but have been to the restaurant numerous times. They might not be as posh as comparable restaurants with their older furniture, but the view and the food, especially if the owner himself cooks, more than make up for it!
My personal favorite is the Flädlesuppe as an appetizer followed by their amazing Schweinelendchen, but the Zwiebelrostbraten is a must try as well!response / report this review -

This place certainly has a mood I actually like. Old furniture mixed with modern bathroom, very cosy bed, free wifi, nice view from the diner and hospitality that is just about right. 100+ TV and radio channels. Our room was a bit tiny, no minibar.

We spent two weeks at the hotel. We were in town to be with our son and his family over the Christmas holiday. Wolfgang and his staff made us feel like family. New Years eve, after coming back from our son’s we were invited to watch the fireworks in the parking lot from the dining room windows. We drank champagne, laughed, talked and had one of the best New Years eve ever. Hotel Pfefferburg is a must visit. We will stay there our next trip to see our son. When you go ask Wolfgang about his lighter.
