  We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Donaublick while traveling by car in Germany. We were looking for an affordable place to stay with decent reviews to cycle along the Danube river. Instead, we found a wonderful hotel with amazing service that became a highlight of our trip. The hotel is a complex of 3 buildings, the hotel and 2 separate restaurants where the owner's mother serves the best goulash soup we tasted in Germany. The hotel is wonderfully renovated inside with many Zen touches. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is served in a large bright room overlooking gardens and sitting areas outside. The service at this hotel is amazing. The owner is always on site and she and her staff are all eager to help with a smile. On the owner's advice, we rented bikes at the hotel, travelled by train up the Danube and cycled 60 km down the Valley back to Scheer, along the well-marked EuroVelo 6 bike trail. It was magical cycling down the steep valley. Prior to the trip, the staff prepared for us sandwiches and fruits for the journey as part of our breakfast. Hotel Donaublick is heavily committed to the Danube Valley cycling route, advertising along the trails and welcoming cyclists who are cycling between the Black Forest and Ulm. We highly recommend the hotel for cyclists, and others, because of its cleanliness, its comfort and above all its service.

  This is a family-owned hotel and they take your service so seriously that you feel like, you are 6 again and your granny is pampering you. No irony, it feels good.
  
  They also have a playground, and in general, it is suitable for families too.

  Een zeer smaak vol ingericht hotel, met zeer vriendelijke en attente medewerkers. Lekker genieten op een buitenterras. Ook het ontbijt liet niets te wensen over.

  Ich hatte einen sehr schönen zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, was die zwei Wochen umso angenehmer gemacht hat. Das Einzelzimmer war für mich völlig ausreichend und es war genügend Platz vorhanden. Das Bad war modern. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Das Personal bedient einem mit frischem Kaffee und Frühstücksei.
  Alles im allen ein sehr schönes Hotel indem man auch eine längere Zeit verweilen kann.

  My family and I loved it at Hotel Donaublick. There was a huge variety of foods for breakfast along with freshly prepared eggs, coffee/tea. All of the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable and help us find our way around the area since we don't speak German. By the end of our stay, we were hugging our host goodbye. The rooms were a good size, and always clean. The restaurant Donaublick was also one of our favourite meals while in Germany. Really good presentation, taste, and portions.
  I would definitely go back next time I am in the area.

  Friendly, top-notch service, clean, comfortable rooms with surprisingly high ceilings, delicious and varied breakfast, very reasonable pricing. I don't believe there's an elevator, so that may be a concern to some, but it wasn't a bother to us. I believe there are only 4 floors anyway.
  Reasonable wi-fi and access to electrical outlets. We had a tablet, phone, laptop, and camera and had enough outlets for all.
  The area is very nice. Safe, beautiful. Close to a small town and within range of Switzerland for a day trip.
  If we're ever back in the area, this will be our first choice without question!
