Hard to put a positive review because of COVID-19 brilliant views from our room breakfast average reception staff not very helpful

Hotel is great, very well located with beautifull rooms. We had a view to Zugspitze which was really nice. Room was clean, bed comfy. 2 out of 3 saunas were closed for some reason (Corona?) but otherwise wellness is nice. We did not like the breakfast though. I guess again due to Covid it is not buffet but what you order you get but the portions are extremely small (we asked for some vegetable and we got 3 cucumber and 3 tomatos) and overall breakfast was very very underwealming.

Beautiful hotel, with lovely, well-appointed rooms and endless Bavarian art and artifacts tastefully decorating the corridors and common areas. The hotel is within easy walking distance of both Garmisch and Partenkirchen's central shopping areas, and offers easy access to the roads to Munich and the Eibsee. The Holzinger family and their staff are all professional, courteous, and efficient. Truly a great stay.

Very cozy, traditional Bavarian rooms. All staff is extremely helpful and friendly. There's also a spa-area including 3 saunas and a nice swimming pool. You may eat at the hotels restaurant or in the city center nearby. There's also a nice bar

Absolutely love this place!!! Old school charm! Everyone was super friendly from the second we walked in. One of the staff, John, helped us park on the street for free and brought all of our luggage in for us in the rain. So many small details that you just don't get in large chains. I'll definitely look here first the next time I'm in Garmisch!!!

Quaint old Bavarian hotel. Not too fancy but comfortable and lovely. Nice breakfast, good but pricey restaurant and fun/friendly staff. A short two block walk from the train station and equal distance from the downtown Garmish shopping district and the old town Partenkirchen historic district, Sits right on the river which you can follow up stream to the 1936 olympics ski jump, reintal trails and partnach gorge..The train station is home to the Zugspitze Ban, a train that will take you to the top of the tallest mountain in Germany.
