Booked the apartment. It is seperate from the hotel but not too far. Room was comfortable, clean and modern. Also had a balcony. The mini kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher which was perfect.
The staff were absolutely amazing from my first call to checking out. Helpful, friendly and very informative.
As part of the package, we were given the the local tourist card which entitles you to try most of the main attractions for free. This included the cable cars which is great for all you mountain bike technical course riders.
All great and excellent value.
The only thing they could have had was extra pillows available im the room which would be the cherry on the icing..! Hardly a huge problem but after an 8 hour drive, it did feel so.
5 star service and great location.

At first the reservation didn't come through correctly. We made reservations for a junior suite instead of a comfort double room. They wanted to give us a small room up in the attic.
When we told the dutch receptionist, she made some changes and gave us the correct room. The room was great, large the only thing missing was air-conditioning and with 30 degrees + temperatures we missed that a lot.

The swimming pool was fantastic and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Lots of fresh and healthy food available. But also the eggs, made to order, english breakfast sausages and a wide variation of breads. The BBQ on wednesday was a big success, for EUR 27,50 you can eat unlimited good quality food.

Downtown Winterberg was reached within 10 minutes and it was great sitting in the local restaurants and cafes to sit and drink and grab some food.

I would go back, but would love to have air-conditioning next time.
