  If you are looking for a four-star accommodation, please be aware. You do not get what you want to expect from a four-star accommodation. If it is old but clean, it is not a problem. But this is old, broken, filthy and unsafe for children. Broken glass on the floor, broken beer bottles, open electricity, graffiti and so on. People working there are very friendly and helpful, but the accommodation by itself is terrible. This is not worth your four-star money!

  Winterberg is great, yet I would recommend to find accommodation elsewhere, esp, during peak season. The hotel has serious flaws you would not expect from a 4* resort:
  - Very limited food options, eg, no lunch option on Sunday (!)
  - Restaurants are crowded during breakfast and dinner, eg, 1hr+ waiting times without reservation, breakfast not replenished fast enough
  - Generally speaking, unfriendly staff not fluent in English

  Perfect for families. Sauna and swimming pool in the hotel. Skiing just 3 min walking. Great place for kids with child care and indoor go kart
