My boyfriend and I took the premium edition of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof in October 2017. Uta and Vlade were outstanding tour guides providing us information in English along the trek to both of these must see castles. This was a very well organized tour where you get all of the admissions to these castles including a very nice bus for only 24 people. The schedule for this tour is very tight not leaving room for a lot of wandering around these places so please note this when planning.

If you want another tour from this company, try their Hop on Hop Off bus tour of Munich. Since we visited in the off season, the attractions closed at 5 p.m. not 6 p.m. like peak. This maximizes your time at each of the sites to see around town. The best thing it drops you off at those further spots like Olympia Village and the BMW museum. Totally worth the $14 Euro.

Very disappointing. The first bus had live guide in German, making it impossible to understand the history in other language using the headphones. I left after awhile and requested a bus without live guide that has never came. Nobody tried to help me and my family; instead the staff was unhelpful and really rude. I do not recommend it!

Our tour to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof castle today was absolutely great! Even though we had missed our tour yesterday, we were able to get on the bus today without paying again! Our guide was very friendly and gave us a lot of information during the bus ride!

the bus stops are over crowed with Tourist. Arriving Busses cant stop because the busses are full. Waiting for the next Busses. Employees are over demanded !!
Second day we bought with the tourist information office tickets for FC Bayern Munich Tour. When we reached to the bus stop, we noticed that the tour was cancelled.
Gray Line saidgo back to the Tourist office if you want to have your money back. We will not use the services of Gray Line again.

They left me and my 7 month old baby girl and 3 year old toddler stranded with my husband and dad at neuschwanstein castle today! 😢 We were having a lovely day until at 5:08 we arrived at the place where they dropped us off (early) only to realize our coach was no where to be seen. We then realized we had not been given any emergency phone numbers to call for information about where our pick up point was. We asked the information centre for information about where the grey line buses leave from and they told us to go to a particular car park. We waited there for almost an hour in drizzle before the information centre closed and we were stranded with no way of contacting our bus. There were no Grey line signs anywhere next to the information centre pin up board! Our tickets also had no information on them. We called the head office but they closed at 5:30! - we had no option but to take a regional train back and we got to our hotel at 10pm!! I'm so disappointed!! We were an hour early in the morning to get to the coach on time, we were also on time the other two times they stopped on our tour. It's rediculus that no emergency phone numbers were on any of the tickets that were given to us! All our tour tour guide told us was the number of the coach licence plate. How was that more vakuable then an emergency mobile number?? When we got the bus in the morning we saw lots of signs with the names of the tour's in front of the coaches yet at Neuschwanstein castle (where millions of tourists travel) none of the coaches had signs in a place that has so many tourists! - it's not hard to become disoriented. My family paid €200for for this trip - the least the tour guides can do is take down a mobile number of one person in each couple by making them sign an attendance sheet while on-board. I feel like I'm being punished for taking my kids on a their first holiday & trying to book something "relaxing" & "safe". I'm so upset!! My dad had asthma medicine in his back pack which he left on his seat thinking the trip back was guaranteed! - I feel like this is a sick joke. You guys were so disorganized - from this morning we were sent from one bus line to the other because no one could figure out who was doing what tour! Not just us - lots of other guests were also frustrated. * Update: my husband got his things this morning and we were informed we were supposed to meet our tour guide to leave at 4:30 not 5:30. I still feel we were misguided (a) that not enough time was left from the time of our tour to get back down the castle with two kids- we had a tour at 3:20 - & we stopped to pee and have a quick coffee at the castle after & start the 20 min walk to he bus which took us down to the coaches and that took another 7 min. They wasted our morning making us take a a stop in a random village to make us buy souvenirs - then we didn't have time at castle we travelled all the way to Germany to see! (B) I am still of the opinion that the departure time and point should be written on our boarding pass at the castle! (C) an emergency number should still be available for gusts on four (d) guest mobile numbers should be taken by your guides and a follow-up should be done when people go missing!!@

I went on the royal castles full day tour, even though it rained on and off the sights and the castles were beautiful. Plus our tour guide Max gave out some interesting information and gave us all a laugh too! 100% must do when you come to munich :)

I came from the United States and I was not familiar with the area. I took the all day bus tour to Linderhof and Neuschwanstein Castles. This tour is very good if you are not familiar with the area and/or not too adventurous. There are basically 3 stops on the tour. Linderhof, Oberammergau, and Neuschwanstein. Linderhof is a castle and the tour takes about 45 minutes. Oberammergau is a stop just to go shopping. The stop in Oberammergau only lasts about 40 minutes. Neuschwanstein stop lasts about 3 hours and castle tour lasts about 40 minutes. Time is limited on this tour so don't expect to spend too much time in Linderhof or Oberammergau. Even though the stop at Neuschanstein is about 3 hours, the trip up to the castle can take 45 minutes if you walk. There is a bus available but the wait time can be long. The buses are clean. The guide is informative. Overall, this was a great experience for me. I would do it again.

Super service, informative live guides and professional bus drivers
With the hop on/ hop off tours we had a great day with a 24 hours ticket so we could split and continue our tour as much as we wanted.
Don't agree with the bed reviews here - the busses were very puntual and professionally equipped with audio guides. Moreover English and German was live spoken.
I would definitely recommend to take a tour with Gray Line busses, we had a great time here in Munich

Great tours and service from the bus drivers and tour guides, Max and Franz. Tours to Neuschwanstein Castle and Saltzburg were good. The idyllic settings, storybook towns and fairytale castles were a dream. Informative tour guide commentaries and wise advice that must be followed. A must if you want to see a lot in a short space of time.

Good tour yesterday. A bit rushed in places and overcrowded in others. All in all it was worth the money spent. Lucy was our tour guide. I would recommend her to host your trip.
