Best photography shop in Cologne. Very wide selection of new and second hand products, competent and friendly staff and also very easy to reach by car and public transportation.

They also have a house fair twice (?) a year where you can attend some events and get discounts on selected items.

Always a pleasure even to look at the storefront. Definitely a suggestion!

This is the photographic version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Upstairs tourism reigns supreme, glitzy and somewhat overpriced hardware and accessories are being sold by the cart. But walk downstairs into the second hand and professionals area and you'll be a happy camper. This is the only camera store in Germany I haven't felt like a bunch of wannabe experts and professionals (who, nevertheless, aren't professional enough to earn enough money to not have to sell point and shoots to tourists) are constantly snooting down on me.

Instead it's a bunch of geeks who love photography as much as you do, won't try to sell you useless and overpriced gear, and are smart enough to help even with obscure issues.
