Die Zimmer sind schön und ausgefallen, auch sauber. Aber das Restaurant, war nicht so toll.
Wir hatten uns einen Platz genommen und bestellt, doch eine kleine Familie, die nach unserer Bestellung kam, hatte vor uns ihr Essen. Diese waren sogar mit dem Essen fertig, bevor wir unseres bekommen hatten.
Als ich Das Personal angesprochen hatte, war dies kurz ab und sehr ausweichend. Man lief vor mir weg und eine Entscheidung gab es auch nicht, genauso wenig wurde gefragt, ob alles okay sei oder ob man noch etwas trinken möchte.
Wir saßen über 1 1/2H ohne ein 2 Getränk, wobei das eine nach schon 45min leer war.

Great find! Motel, ice cream. Drinks and American menu (also German food too!) - oh and American Cars! V8s galore and a working garage - car lovers' heaven!

I recently stayed at the motel and ate at the diner and I wish I could give Down Town Garage more than 5 stars! I am from the U.S. and the Down Town Garage is very authentic and reminded me of being at home! The food at the diner was delicious. I had the mozzarella sticks and nachos, both were so tasty and were brought to my table quickly. The bartender also makes great drinks- you have to try the Mai Tai! The service as the diner was speedy, friendly, and welcoming. I was able to get a table without a wait. And you can tell the staff really enjoys working there! As for the motel- wow! I stayed for 2 nights in the "Las Vegas" room and the service was spectacular. Not only was the room stunningly decorated but the bed was so comfortable and I had everything I needed for my stay- towels, shampoo, etc. Just like at the diner, the service was worth 5/5 stars and the wonderful people at Down Town Garage went above and beyond to make me feel welcome during my stay. I will definitely be returning to both the diner and the motel and I recommend everyone do the same!

Leider gibt es keine - Sterne. nach Vorbestellung habe ich mit meiner Familie (Frau +3 Kinder) 50min auf unsere Burger warten müssen. Es war nichts aussergewöhnliches an unserer Bestellung. Die Burger die wir dann bekamen waren unter aller Würdetut mir leid aber dann geh ich lieber zum Fastfood. Da weiß ich das es nicht schmeckt, aber es kostet weniger. Zusammengefasst: nie ,nie wieder

Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Zimmer, freundliches Personal, Parkplatz vor der Tür, schnelles, kostenloses Internet und leckere Burger gibt es auch noch! Das muss man erlebt haben, auf jeden Fall DIE Location in Berlin wenn man nicht mittendrin übernachten will.
