This store location is easily accessible by a guided foot path from Südkreuz and situated with many other home improvement and furniture stores on the same lot.
It is one of Berlin's biggest IKEAs and carries the full assortment, including a big winter garden and restaurant. Keep in mind the various shortcuts in the exhibition and shopping area, you don't have to always go the long way around!
Apart from it being always way too crowded it is always OK. Due to the helpful staff and very decent restaurant.
Good food, nice staff and overally clean. Very nice experience when coming off the most popular hours to avoid the crowds :)
Big fan of click and collect. Save yourself the waiting in line and hundreds of people crowding the store. Really friendly staff down there, too!
This was my first IKEA experience. Did not expect it to take so long as there is no simple way to get to the best section you need and get out. Despite the seemingly neverending maze, I was impressed by the selection of stuff as well as the setups of the pre-designed rooms in one part of the warehouse.
I always enjoy going to this IKEA. Easy to access by public transport or by car. Friendly service.
Best Ikea close to centre of Berlin. Smooth connection via s-bahn (Südkreuz) or bus. Busy during after work-hours and weekends (not a surprise, it's ikea).
Although it's often crowded on Saturdays, weekdays aren't too bad. They have a play area for kids in their cafeteria and the food is both tasty and reasonably priced. You can use the Möbeltaxi outside to elgrt things home, not expensive and sometimes they let you ride with them
It's what you would expect for an IKEA, but surprising they hold it together on the weekends. With that said, don't go on the weekends, they have extended late hours during the week, so please I beg you,, avoid IKEA on the weekends!
It is huge like all others. Good selection and quite affordable. Tip: If you are thirsty, go to the food court. You can buy a cup for 50 cents and can have as much hot chocolate as you want. The offers on Swedish sweets downstairs are also very good.
