A good solid functional hotel within a 20mins brisk walk from Bonn City. Our main 'recommend to my friends' likes are the quietness, proximity to Bonn, the hotel's own underground car park (you may as well pay to use this than the city car parks), overall cleanliness and good lighting. Our EUR90 stay excluded breakfast so I cannot comment. Our upgraded room, a compact suite with sofa, chairs and a coffee table featured a lot of stately looking brass metalwork with wood paneling probably appealing more to former politicians but it does make for a quirky stay for 21st century travellers. Its kitchenette was very sparsley equipped, just enough to open the courtesy 2 bottles of beer/water and make coffee/tea. Reception allowed us to collect the car at our leisure on the following day which was appreciated.

I like the hotel . It gives you felling and comfort @home . I liked the concept of small Kitchen. Perfect for Business Travellers. The price is also ok. Many musseum and river are with in walking Distance. Recomended for both Single and family . ☺

Very good roomsnice spahowever it s a little disturbing to have guests naked in the sauna or hamman or relaxing roommore privacy would be appreciable no french channel contrarily to the menu in rooms.. no maintenance possible after 4.30pmand no cleaning of room service served the day beforewhere is the service of a 4* actually ? Howeveras i saidvery good rooms

Quiet location, perfect for visitors of the German national telecommunications operator - Deutsche Telekom.
Lovely rooms with very good bathrooms and comfortable beds. Breakfasts to give you power for the rest of the day.

I've been staying at the Kanzler Hotel since 2012 and the staff are always friendly and inviting. This is just one of the reasons that I return time and time again. Thank you to the Kanzler staff for making me feel like I truly have a home away from home.

From the first phone call, the follow up email confirmation to the email a few days before arrival - I as impressed with the professional assistance and attention to detail by all staff members. I also very much enjoyed the upgrade to suite 230, the additional space for my 4 night stay. Thank you, Derag Team, for making this a pleasant and memorable experience. I really appreciate it. The walking distance to the UN was of course another bonus and even walking to city center in the evening was no moe than 15 minutes and very possible.
