You have to be well informed about where you take out your insurance. Although I had the feeling during the counseling session that I had been well informed about benefits and non-benefits, I now have to state that the counseling that was given was insufficient. However, this should not happen, especially when it comes to sensitive issues such as health. After I received an unexpected bill from the health insurance company and spoke to my advisor about the matter, statements such as "Of course I can no longer understand what I said then and what not", "I can understand you, that I would have understood it that way" and the assurance that we would take on the case.
The promised call back never came. I had to make several phone calls to reach my advisor because all calls back were ignored. When I finally got through to my advisor, my request to have the costs covered was rejected - although there are ways of subsequently accommodating the customer in the event of inadequate advice (which was basically at least not denied). Now I'm sitting on the costs. I would therefore certainly not trust the advice a second time.

I will start my legal clerkship in Potsdam on June 1st. I took out this insurance with AXA Fink & Wagner. Thanks again for the friendly advice!
