The breakfast is quite nice, the accommodation price is rational, of course the location is definitely good.

If I have to rate it. ( Im not doing out of vast dissapointment, just being honest). Friendly staff and all, great location etc. However the hotel standard was more like a Hostel from the 80ies. Paperthin walls so you could hear the neighbors TV all night. Interior design from the 90ies. Had a large neon sign in my face so window shades had to be dark. The "Spa" was a jacuzzi and a sauna, common at your local gym, nothing "Spa" about it. As a business traveler for 2 nights, I was fine with it and enjoyed the central location, but from a rating view it was way overprised and not a place I would re-visit. Bye.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Steps away from trams to and from Koelnmesse (just two stops away). Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Second time in this hotel. Super breakfast and nice staff. Also cozy bar present.

Beds soso and room too hot .
Opening the windows lets the noise in from local drunks. Be sure to bring earplugs. Bathroom/shower a bit slippery. Be careful!

Very good location and parking in nearby parking house is easy.

Great location and close to the Old Town, making it very easy to walk around. Old building with no AC, a tiny elevator (fits a max of 4 people, no luggage) but it is comfortable and staff provide wonderful service. Walls are thin, and open windows means lots of voices heard at night due to the activity of the square in which this hotel is located. When driving to this hotel, it is imperative to look for the accompanying square that this is in, as google maps does not realise there is no street leading up to the front door! Again, find the square (Eisenmarkt) and there will be a narrow alleyway you can drive into to allow dropping off of your luggage. Outside of the square is a parking lot which will be discounted if you present the parking stub to the hotel. Otherwise, TONS of food and historic marks are located around this hotel - 10 minutes to the Dom (cathedral) to the northwest and 10 minutes to the Chocolate museam to the southeast. And during Christmastime, it is the next block over from the yearly Christmas Market!

The room was very clean and a nice size. The room was on the warm side, but that is the only issue. The location is great as it is so close to the river and the Alter Markt just know that with that comes with noise from all the visitors to the area. That didn't bother me, but should be taken into account by those it may bother. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to keep our bags their prior to check in.

Clean rooms and great location. But that's all good there is to say.

    - The worst thing was that the hotel was very loud, so we could hear everybody walking around on the hall way, waking us up a lot of times during a night.

-On their site it says they have steam bad, sauna and jacuzzi, but non of that is to be found. We just got a "sorry". No compensation or anything.

-Then there was the wi-fi. It's a special system for hotels, but it keeps throwing you off the net, so you have to sign in again every 5 minutes you use it. Really annoying when you just want to relax.

    - Breakfast was €11. Not bad, but really, for less than that you can go to a really nice café near the Dom and have a decent breakfast.

    We won't return.
