I was here with some friends on a Sunday morning. Didn't have any booking but staff managed to squeeze us in.
Great food, reasonable prices, big portions, fast efficient staff, quick with the food, lovely building. What more can I say! You should probably book if possible. It's a great choice for breakfast.

Great spot. We came in for some breakfast before heading to Oktoberfest. The waiter translated the entire menu for us and had us in stitches! The food was excellent but we'd come back again purely for the service.

Friendly and gracious service. Every staff person we met spoke fluent English. Food is spectacular. Outdoor patio is lovely. Of all the places we ate this week this cafe stood head and shoulders above everywhere else. Claudia and Evelina are quite possibly the best servers in the world, but most certainly the best in Munich.

Historic bar and restaurant featuring reliably delicious classic German and modern international dishes. Fresh ingredients in well prepared and presented dishes. Lively crowd, good music (often live), and hospitable staff.

Good food and baverages, but it is really loud when it's crowded. The waiters are kinda on the run.

The waiter forgot about a drink for my girlfriend and I got my croissant one hour(!) after a cup of coffee. The place is getting too busy on weekend mornings, service is slow and one can hardly hear the live music if not sitting right near the piano.

Every time I come here I am shocked by the rudness of some of the staff !
Advice : Never have lunch here.. Breakfast is good however the service is very bad .
Last time I came here the waiter served us visibly burnt food and when I asked to return it he told me its not burnt from the inside !
This time I wanted to switch the table and the waitress refused to move the plates and said I should move them outside myself !
The management should really start firing some of those guys !
To the management : the last experience was with a waitress called Melanie who was very inappropriate ..

Situated in very nice Art Nouveau salon with a lot of space and with two very nice outdoor areas this café is a great place to chill and have a drink or two with your friends but i would not recomend it for food.

Food: went there with couple of friends and we all ordered different dishes. All dishes had something wrong with them. My asparagus soup was saltier than mare Adriatico and i could only taste the cream. The potatoes that came with the salad had their bast days behind them. They were stale and inedible. And the sauce served with asparagus was clumpy and was more like pudding than a sauce. After we complained the staff was very pleasant and offered us some cake on the house. Unfortunately the cake was also not very fresh.
All in all I recommend this place for a nice evening drinks but not for food.

    Service: Very pleasant and forthcoming.

Tip: They take both cash and card but card payment starts at 20€

Turned up on a busy Sunday without a reservation and were told by the friendly staff to come back in 15-20 minutes and they'd find us a table.
Returned after a short walk to find a table reserved for us.
Good food and service. Would definitely come again
