Cosy beer garden with a great view. Don't expect to much of the food. It's good, traditional beer garden dishes. Not much variety for vegetarians but a nice little spot to enjoy the sunshine.

The price is normal. If it is a sunny day, it is enjoyable to spend some time there. If it is a cold day, there are some covers available.

One of my favourite Biergartens from Munich mainly because it's away from the fuss of the city and because there is always a cosy atmosphere.
The food is typical for a Biergarten with a few extra options such as burgers or ribs and has good prices. Since the sponsoring brewery is Ayinger you can be sure that you'll find good beers there. I recommend the Celebrator, their flagship doppelbock that's not on the printed menu.
It's always nice to go there and you can even take your beers and drink them on the grass with a view of the city and The Alps (when the air is clean).response / report this review -

Tucked away with a great view and a sizable meadow to hangout. A great place to relax with friends.
