  Traditional German dishes and beer. The staff is very helpfull. A little crowded - if no free table, they always make you place next to another group. Reservations are needed for the evenings - especially for groups. Sometimes it is a bit noisy.
  There is also a biergarten outside.
  Excellent food, excellent beer!

  Great place to have a drink. If a table's not actually full, the locals will make room for you to sit. Friendly atmosphere and good food (try the 'himmel und erde')

  Poor menu even for this type of place, but quickly served and rather inexpensive. If you dont like beer or heavy food, go somewhere else

  Impolite service and racist comments from staff. They even invite you to go to McDonalds.
  
  I have lived in Cologne for more than 4 years and I have shown this place to visitors. Last time I went there I had to wait more than 25 min to order the food and more than 1 h for the food to be served. I tried to complain and, of course, it was my fault because I need to relax. Even they asked about my nationality and invitied me to go to McDocnalds.

  Awful service. They only serve large groups. I went there alone and asked for a table for one. The waiter didn't even look at me in the eye and roughly pointed to inside and said, At the Back. This meant they understood English. After I sat at a table, I waved at the waiter for at least a minute, but waiter continued to ignore me. Other waiters only went to large tables with groups, therefore again I was neglected. I wonder if they don't serve singles or they just don't serve Asians.
  I don't even want to give it any star at all! Lousy service! Don't go there!

  Local place servicing traditional German dishes and Kölsch beer. Expect good food and large portions. The place can get a bit loud and very busy in the evenings. Excellent fries and a good half chicken with salad for only 11€
  
  Great for large groups as the tables can be easily put together

  Had a great time there a while back, September 2015. Great food, unique kölsch, I just wish my group had seen you could get a 5 liter leg for the table!

  Very authentic and lively brewery, with excellent kolsch and tasty schweinshaxe ! I recommend to everyone who likes to taste real German food and great atmosphere

  Beer is good, food unfortunately not. Rather large place with a vintage style. Reservations are recommended on weekends.
