Burgers are great, prices are cheap & service is fast (unless there are 200 tourists in front of you). Worth a try if you have time to wait.
Maybe it has to do with being American and therefore having a different expectation of what a burger should be like, but I've eaten here 2 times now and do not understand why this place is popular. It wouldn't last 5 minutes in any American city. The burger does not even taste like its made of real beef. I'm sure there is beef in it. But it is some sort of highly processed beef product mixed with God knows what other sort of fillers. The meat patty is rubbery and bouncy. More like a McDonald's breakfast sausage than a piece of actual beef. If you asked for it to be cooked "rare" it would taste exactly the same because there is no juice in the meat to begin with. And then smothered with ketchup to cover up the terrible, artificial taste. To be fair, most burgers I've had in Berlin are similar, and this place does not serve the worst I've had here. Also, both times, the fries were half way cooked and tasted like they'd been dropped in a bucket of salt. Really bad food.
best burger ever! it's just too small and always full so that we had to eat outside in the cold - but still worth it! :)
190g patty flame grilled to perfection but missing that tiny bit of magic. Bun soft on the inside, sesame seeds on top, toasted and nice flavor. Sauce, jalapenos, chili flakes, cheese and bacon on point. I didn't ask for american style so lots of green on there as well (some people might not like this amount of greens). €6.9 for this huge burger that I could eat perfectly with just one hand.
Sweet potato fries are legendary. Seriously best fries I had in a while.
It's just AWESOME! People working there are very kind and funny, it's a 10/10 for the service. And for the burger simply The Best Burger Ever. A must go!
Great burgers and great servers. There isn't much seating sadly. Burgers take around 15 minutes to come out but they're fresh when they do. They've also changed their hours to reflect when they actually close, which seems accurate!
Old review: I went there at 00:25 on a Saturday night. The guy said that they're closed and to check google for the hours. Both google, and the sign directly behind him, said they close at 01:00.
By far the greatest burger joint in Berlin.
Homemade and fresh burgers, using only high quality meats and ingredients.
A small but amazing menu including delicious sides like the famous Chilli-Cheese-Fries.
A must to check out while in the city!
Friendly staff, a variety of burgers, all really REALLY tasty. It's a little small during the winter months because it's too cold to eat outside. But there's plenty of space when it warms up.
those burgers look fantastic - no doubts! but sadly they don't meet up with the visual expectations. meat well done (ordered rare) & all of those overlaying flavors here it's really adding by subtracting! go try it out - but definitely not my favorite Berlin-burger
Very very good hamburger, tried the Die Patin (Godmother) and the sweet potato fries and if I could I would go back to try everything else.
Amazing and original place, with a nice decoration full of stickers from all over the world but very little space. Not good for groups but you can take out!
