There are some construction work going on. I didn't find direct access to line U from RE train lines. Exit of train station is turn into homeless shelter, bit scary while exiting in night.

The elevator is used for the purpose of the toilet. apparently it is not even cleaned.
The rest of the station is comfortable and equipped with everything you need.

Lovely zoo and aquarium- much bigger than you’d expect it to be when you see it from the entrance. When we visited there was quite a lot of renovations taking place, so some enclosures were fenced off, however those that we were able to visit were wonderful.

My cousin was secually harssed and no one helped.

I went to the station with my cousin around 2:00pm, 11/02/2017. We went DB RB14 line that the train arrives at 2:10pm Then, We walked up stairs. There was an old man who had cart, and he was yelling to someone. I can't understand German. But I can see that he was drunk some alcohol and so rude, because he came me, and he threatened me that pushed towards the train by his his cart. It was dangerous. But we did ignore. Then we confirm this station is collect line or not collect line. That moment , He came to us, he continues bawl. I can't listen, speak, write German. never. But It was so bad word or bad sentence. I did notice, because other people look at us, they face expression was serious . And my cousin holding a mobile on her's chest.Then, He tried take it out. Very strongly. and he toched my cousin chest. Then, he told us something. And then he went to other way. After 2 mins, we got confirmed and we found this station line was wrong. So we back to go other way by lift. Then I saw near by some one ,We found one of the staffs on our way ,
but I can't understand. She must have heared to it ,because lot of people saw to us. I saw the people near her.
Staffs in this station did NOT take any incidence and we think this is WRONG. Also, no one wasn't even trying to stop him when we were in those situations. It was an absolute sexual harassment and I think also related to ignore another country people.
I hope that the same thing won't happen. Be careful please.

I'm a food guy, and let me just say the food was amazing. One of my most favorite stops for döner kabab. Well, a Turkish Pizza in this case. Had a quick snack in between trains at AVCI at the U-Bahn. The heavy turkish influence meets the on-the-go Berlin lifestyle. I've put together a video of how this U-Bahn food stop brought a pizza and a kebab roll together.
