Great eating options here and it was relatively easy to find the luggage lockers. Only complaint was the luggage locker area reeked of urine.

BIG station. If new to Deutsch Bahn the place can be bewildering. ONCE you've found the information kiosk and/or the ticket office it's dead easy

It is a comfi station. You can ride the S or U trains and also the express from/to the airport (Schönefeld). Not all platforms have ticket machine, so pay attention. You also have there super market, fast food etc..

Rather modern comfortable Bahnhof. Sometimes not super convenient for disabled people because of steps. Lifts are mainly over crowded. A lot of cool shops and Edeka supermarket working 7 days per week

Of course the station and the place is big, historical and beautiful with shops and more BUT, there is no info point when and where you need it, and the ticket machines are in random places on the station and not in logical places next to the trains and rails. The result of this is either to loose train because you search all over to get your ticket or you pay much more than you should. In my case I have a monthly ticket and when I use the RE I always pay the whole ticket at the machines which I think is not correct, but as I said when I am on the run there is nothing and no one to inform from. Cheers!

The S bahn station is fairly large with multiple travel options. The regional trains also stop here as well.

The station has easy link to any where you are going mostly the EDEKA supermarket located there is very helpful to get what you want any time.

Not the most clean station in Berlin, a vast part of it's under renovation. Good variety of stores and fast-food. It's well served by many tram, metro and S Bahn trains.

This is one of the few surviving historic train stations in Berlin. The wrought iron work is impressive, built to last with character. However photogenic it is, still a sad reminder of those who were lost at this junction. See the historic marker and children bronze statue on the side.
