There was a typo in my visa documents, which caused confusion with the airport staff.
After getting through to the consulate staff, they were quick and friendly offering their assistance.

Finding the right person within DFAT is an adventure though.

the exhibition "kulata tjuta" of contemporary paintings by indigenous artists is only partially accessible to the public. apparently, more than half of the exhibition is FOR STAFF ONLY kept in the courtyard locked behind glass doors. quelle dommage ! why spend the money to host an exhibition "free to public" just to show only 8 paintings to the public and hide the rest ??!!

I’ve been to the embassy from Hamburg to Berlin 3 or 4 times now in the last 5 years..
My personal experience is the staff there are nothing short of amazing, helpful, kind from the office staff, also the security team at the front door. Nothing but friendly and helpful.
I can’t speak more highly of the Australian embassy Berlin !

Arrogant, unhelpful, extremely rude. We needed information about visas, we were told to leave. Now we are struggling with issues that could have been resolved within 5 minutes. Extremely unhappy.

Jeff was exceptional. We were extremely stressed and nervous after our passports were stolen and Jeff immediately put our minds at ease and helped us get new passports within 24 hours. This allowed us to continue with our trip as planned. We are very grateful and appreciative of his service.

Awful service. One of the worst DIBP offices in the world! Klaus as an officer was unbelievably irresponsible and careless. Blatant violation of service standard is a routine here.

Came here to make an emergency passport and Jeff was exceptional. He greeted me with a copy of my lost passport along with contact details of the embassy should I be stopped by the police. Very considerate and kind.
