We've been to this hotel for our winter holidays. Booking declared this hotel as a 4* hotel. I'm not the one who complains about accommodations and I also lived at hostels for several times, but this hotel is the worst hotel EVER. Of course it may turn out that I was unlucky with the room and other things but here is the list of what made me so angry about it:
1. Rooms are old-fashioned, the walls and the curtains are all dirty with stains of unknown nature, the same with the carpets. Thanks God I had my slippers with me! The bathroom is all mouldy because of the shower cubicle which has not been sealed properly and the water makes floods on the floor. The TV is old. I never watch TV but this square box made the room look 100 years older and we didn't find the remote control.
2. The breakfast is really horrible. Vegetables are perished, fruit are represented by apples only, the plates and glasses and cups have several cracks on them and are never clean. Forget about coffee, you can hardly find any.
3. WiFi is VERY SLOW.
The only advantages are location and price. Cannot tell anything about the staff as I didn't get in touch with them during my stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyoneresponse / report this review -

Lovely old art deco era hotel away from the touristy area, but close enough to get there without any issues. The room I stayed in was cosy and clean and the staff were just so helpful and friendly. I was incredibly impressed with how quiet my room was. I could not hear any noise at all from my neighbours. There was some traffic noise as it was facing a busy street, but I didn't find it enough to be disturbing. If traffic noises bother you, i understand they have plenty of rooms at the back that overlook a garden.
The hotel has a lift, but be aware that otherwise it is not disabled accessible. They do state this fact on their web site, but I've seen a couple of travel sites list it as having facilities for disabled guests, so be aware.response / report this review -

Rooms nice, comfy beds with large ensuite, breakfast was adequate, not much of a cooked breakfast but that's a Czech cultural thing, but then again when it's a buffet I can't complain

Ants in the bathroom. The room was really nice Until we woke up next morning, took some cookies from our closed bag and found out a lot of ants running from the bathroom to the bag and the cookies were full of ants. Apart from that, very good service, room and location.

For the price can't really grumble. Was nice and clean with friendly staff. The noise from the busy junction in front is a bit of an issue and the hotel/room it's self is very basic with no bar etc. If you're looking for somewhere fairly close to the centre, with good transport links, a few little bars and places to eat then you could choose a lot worse places.

Okay hotel. Very much a budget hotel for those wanting to save money on accommodation. Room was clean, only issue we really had was the smell of stale smoke in the bathroom. It was a non smoking room, however it seemed people may have been smoking in the room above us, the smell of smoke had traveled into our bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel taxi to and from the airport is cheaper than using the airport taxi firms! Tram and bus stops right at side with a ticket machine right outside the front of the hotel. 15 minutes on tram or bus takes you right into the centre of Prague. Would stay here again!

Good hotel, clean room with a great shower and comfy bed. The he breakfast isn't the best but will tide you over. Easy access to the center of Prague via the number 9 tram.

It was wonderful stay there. The staff at the reception was highly cooperative n forthcoming. However food stuff at breakfast needs some improvement.

Spent a weekend there and won't be returning anymore. Not a fancy hotel but this is not the biggest problem. The personnel is terrible. I have never seen a 4 star hotel with personnel in jeans and worse dress all of them totally bored. The worst experience was the breakfast buffet which was a waste of money, the restaurant was dirty, running out of everything from food to cuttlery. Also experienced many loud guests partying in their rooms and corridor till 2am. Calling reception did not help. Also the hotel is at a loud street crossing. I do not know what to say more. It was all wrong and it was my worst hotel experience ever. From smell in the bathroom to the funny garage where there were just 2 inches left next to back mirrors of the car parked between the columns there.
