It's inexpensive, has tram 6 and a few others just 10-15 steps away (in front of it). Charges 5€ for Breakfast per person but the bathrooms are shared. But is a good deal for low rates as it is not far from the old town. Staff is great tho, Daniel, Julia, Micheal and Barbra, but mostly Julia was such a sweetheart.

I had a pleasant experience with this hotel, though you have to take note this isn't best of standard for a 3 star place, rooms are clean, beds are (very!) comfortable, the area is safe and quiet. Staff is very attentive and easily speaks English. You can get to Old Town within a few minute subway ride. Subway tickets are very cheap (roughly 2.30 EUR for 3-person single ride).

This was by far the worst accommodation we have ever stayed at. Our 2-nights stay started pretty good, though. When we checked into the “hotel” in the late afternoon the woman at the reception desk welcomed us very nicely. We were shown our room, which was 15 EUR per night/room. Considering the price, the room itself was okay, quite small and not the nicest view into some dirty backyard. Anyways, it seemed quite clean, which was the most important thing for us. But we had already discovered 2 small insects crawling around on the wall. We thought, okay, this might only have been a coincidence, so we got rid of them immediately. Then we went out for dinner and decided to have a cocktail at some bar. After we had come back from the cocktail bar at around 1 am, we decided to go to bed in order to get a good night’s sleep since we would be attending a Green Day concert the next day. As soon as we arrived at our room, we discovered another bug on the wall and decided to ask for another room the next morning. We got ready for bed and turned off the lights. All of a sudden my friend jumped out of his bed while nervously scratching his arm. After he had turned the lights back on we were shocked by the sight of 2 bugs running on the bed sheets and 1 bug on the wall right next to the bed. We were like, okay that’s it. We need to get another room right now, so my friend and I went downstairs to see the receptionist. Some Asian guy was sitting there asking what was going on. We explained to him what was crawling around in our room and that we wanted another one. He told us that there were no other rooms available that night. He went upstairs to see for himself what the bugs looked like. He even grabbed one from the wall and took it to the bathroom sink in order to examine it properly, which was pretty gross, by the way. Afterwards, he came back into the room and told us that these insects would not pose any danger and that we should just put new bed sheets on our beds. We were disgusted by the fact that he would not help us out in any other way. We could not imagine staying in that room any longer. He even called the manager who asked if we had video footage, which we had. Unfortunately, we didn’t capture the entire room on film, but only the bed sheets. We ended up at another hotel in the middle of the night. The receptionist called us a cab and managed to get us another hotel. He said that we would need to come back the next day in order to ask the manager for a refund.
So after we had arrived at the other hotel, we took a long shower in order to get rid of whatever might have got stuck on our bodies. We were both scratching ourselves even the next morning and throughout the day. Anyways, as soon as we got up, we went exploring the city and decided to visit this hotel again in order to ask for our refund. We entered the building and were welcomed by a female receptionist who turned out to be the manager. We explained the issue and were met with disbelief and indifference. She said that house-keeping did not find anything in the room and accused us of making the entire story up. We were so shocked that we did not have any words to say at first. After we had shown her the video, she denied that this was in her hotel. We even presented her pictures of the room taken just seconds after the video, which precisely showed the room as well as the exact time. It is simply not possible to travel to another house within 20 or something seconds. She told us that she was not much of a “technical person” and kept calling us liars. She even denied having been called by that Asian receptionist that night, and according to her he did not see anything in our room, which obviously was not true. All in all, we ended up paying twice as much, since we did not get our money back, not even for the second night. There were not many times in life when we felt that hopeless having to witness injustice to such great extent. What are the options in a foreign country not speaking the local language?response / report this review -

Simple hotel room. Clean. Bathroom we had share with one other room.
Romm was with fridge and tvlot of chanals
On reception was all the time very help full people.
store luggage before we left prague was possible.

Very nice staff, double bed room on the fifth floor, good connection to public transportation, quite some restaurants around and it's located in a nice part of Prague.
