The single rooms in the loft are absolutely budget. Uncomfortable furniture and a bed you feel the springs through. The shower head was halfway out of the wall and was spraying water all over the place when turned on. The room was dusty with sticky stains on the bathroom tile floor, and I've found several hairs that wasn't coming from me. A tiny tv and no batteries in the remote, and you could barely see it since there was a big beam in the center of the room, blocking the view. And no mini bar. The people in the reception were nice though.

We've eaten here - a large dinner with multiple foreign guests. Waiting staff was terrible (Czech standard), food was ok. We waited long even for appetizers. When they were served, some tablet already ate their bread baskets, but if we didn't prompt twice or thrice these weren't refilled. Forgotten orders, waiting for beer refills, taking glasses not yet empty Were they understaffed? I don't know but they shouldn't, they were informed how many guests to expect.

First time in Medvidku and the food was only average with very simple plates the service was basic without any extra mile no smile and we felt we are just disturbing the waiter when we tried to order some food.i was expected better quality food and customer service from this restaurant!

First time eating czech food; svickova and pork knuckle. Not very fond of either; svickova was drenched in gravy so you couldnt see the meat and I would think potatoes would be better complement than dumplings. Made the mistake of eating the pork knuckle alone; could have easily fed three people.
Waiter was great though and the atmosphere too.

The rooms are comfortable and quite big, as are the bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful and gave us a welcome beer when we arrived, which was tasty. The breakfast in their hotel is also good. The hotel has free wifi and a lift to most floors. All in all a good experience.

Went for lunch and got the half duck. It was very good but didn't seem to have been prepared fresh as it was out within 5 minutes of me ordering.

Reasonably priced cross between a local pub and tourist spot. Traditional Czech food that may be a bit heavy/fatty for some people. Beer is great including their own beers. Service can be a bit "cold" but is generally efficient and good.
They don't go out of their way to be super "touristy" and tbh locals and Czech speakers will have it better than tourists. Still a good pub with good food and great beer. I always bring friends here when they are visiting the city

I ate at resturrants and the food was good BUT it's actually the worst service I have received at a resturant EVER. Waiters were ALWAYS in a bad mood. it seemed like every time I asked about domething I was the biggest fool in the world! Example: I asked about what food she recommended and she pointed on all dishes and said "all is good" ..
What was strang.. everyone who worked there was in a bad mood??? DO NOT eat at this place, steer away, choose another restaurant, 1,000 times better at MacDonalds and that says a lot, please please do not go to this place !!!
