There was a definite advantage to Hotel Olsanka being on the bus route, and close to an underground station. Getting around Prague was a breeze. The hotel was nice, VERY affordably priced, but the rooms are quite dark, with few lamps. Not enough outlets if you need to charge multiple devices. Beds are comfortable, and bathroom was very roomy. Wasn't crazy about the Eastern European breakfast, but I hear it's typical of Eastern Europe. If you get a chance, check out the cute little wine barVin Vinwith the grape vines growing in front.
The hotel is decent. Lobby and bar looks good but our room was a bit Soviet era looking. Housekeeping is not at the top level to be honest, toilet was dirty and nobody was vacuuming through our stay. Breakfast is always included in the price and is pretty poor, you can buy premium breakfast but we didn't do it. Overall it is a place to spend the night (bed is comfortable) and that's it. Good connections by team with city center.
Ridiculously small parking slots, renovating from 07:30 thus unable to sleep, mediocre kitchen, elevators unable to keep up with the number of guests (5 min waiting is usual), not really recommended. The staff is helpful, though. :)
Value for money. Nice food and breakfast. Room are non air-conditioned
It was okay. We went there with school excursion, and it's a good choice for that use. Good position, pretty clean, food could be better.
The hotel is very close to the centre of Prague, several stations by train. It's not expensive and the service here is quiet good. I have been there two time and i can advice this hotel !
I don't recommend this Hotel at all. Everything inside the rooms are old and they don't care with the maintenance! In each room you'll find only one plug so, if you are a couple and you both need to charge your mobil phone, forget it. The furniture is also very old und out datedthe receptionists are not kind. You have to pay a lot to Park your car inside and if you have a lot of lugage you have to carry it upstairs. No air condicioned and so on, and so on
Good hotel with nice position in the city and normal prices. By the way, here you may souvenir shop where prices are lower than in the Prague centre.
Tram station is in front of and you may get centre within 5-8 minutes.
Exception: do not change money here)) the rate is even lower than at the airport!
Enjoy your stay and visit!
Feel free to ask more!
The hotel is really not worth the 3 stars. The room was really thilfy and dirty. The carpet I suppose also was not vacuumed in ages. Breakfast room is looking like from last century and the breakfast was really poor. Definitely not going to book here again.
Hotel is OK for running meetings. Internet is fast but the facilities are a bit dated. We were put in a room off the main corridor which was beside some back offices.
The rooms were pretty dusty and during my stay there(5 days) the room was cleaned only once. The service is great, very friendly and helpful staff!! The breakfast buffet is terrible the food(especially the cheese) has little to no taste! All of the spreads were inedible! There weren't any vegan options either!
Great place to stay for a weekend. Also for a group of people. Big minus is breakfast, it's really poor. Advantage is swimming pool.
The hotel has no kettle in the room, the toilet smells like urine and unclean, the room door does not fit properly therefore difficult to open, the staff is extremely rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. they cannot speak english. The breakfast is terrible too. Hot water is provided at the bar but you are expected to bring your own glass which the hotel does not provide. EPIC FAIL
