Wonderful hotel!! I had a great time there, only wish I could have stayed longer. The room was very small and I had to do a lot of side-stepping yet the bathroom was a pretty decent size, so that was nice!
All of the staff were so accommodating to us and helped answer all of our questions (even the stupid ones).
The wifi is a downer though, it never works.
Definitely will stay again when I go back to Prague.response / report this review -

great localisation, clear rooms, tasty breakfast and kind stuff. Unfortunatelly hotel has only 3 parking places and really weak wifi.

Wifi barely worked and there was barely cell reception in our room. There was a chemical smell in the room that had me sneeze and blocked up my nose. Interior was dated. Staff are ok. Beds are not nice. Location is ok, short walk from metro.

You might ruin your own holidays! I have been to hotels with one or no stars that were more Friendly, cleaner and felt more luxurious.
The toilet was moldy and we had no Wifi for the three days. Worst hotel I've been to.response / report this review -

The location is excellent. It's an average Hotel. Clean/small rooms. My only grip is no kettle in room with a few cups. I stayed in many countries/hotels all had coffee maker or kettle in room. I thought the staff was nice. The food for breakfast needs improvement. It's okay but not great.

You get what you pay for. My three star is an honest opinion. But trust me, this place offers more than you pay for. The rooms are very small but clean. The breakfast is well above what you pay for. People who complained have not experienced other hotels in Prague. The location is very convenient.
We were here just for one night and selected this just because it had free parking. But it turned out that there are only two spaces and we didn't get any. But the good thing was there is a complete street of paid parking just behind and it costs 20kc per hour from 8 - 20 and free at night and weekends. We parked there at 6.30 evening and put 60kc in the machine and it gave us until 9.30 the following morning. That was super convenient as I didn't have to run down to put more coins in morning.
There are nice food places nearby. I will recommend a quite cosy place in the cellar on corner Hrom do Police. Inexpensive and good food.response / report this review -

Always a bit sceptical when booking hotels abroad, but Hotel Anděl did not disappoint! Everything was super clean, staff are very friendly and always offered to help, it's ideally located just a short walk to the old town and castlewould love to go back some time!

Horrible stay. The rooms small and cramped and did not reflectthe images shown. The staff was rude and incompetent. The lift was not working and my partner had a broken foot.. Just horrible from the beginning to the end. After the experience here I heard from many locals the horror stories of this hotel.. Stay away from this dump.

Good hotel, nice crew. Not for staying at the hotel, but only to bring the noght through. But thats good enough for me.
