Everything about this hotel is absolutely charming- its romantique location, as soon as you enter the door you are greeted by wonderful staff with a glass of sparcling wine, then there`s elegantly decorated rooms, stunning views from its restaurant, delicious breakfast. Everything made such great impression that we decided to stay an extra night! Well done, Golden Well hotel staff!

What an incredible experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Upon arriving, they personally escort you around the hotel. The space and location is so beautiful, tucked away by the castle. And the service was memorable. Everything is so thoughtfully crafted and designed. We loved our stay here. Thank you Golden Well for making our stay in Prague so amazing!!

We are world travelers and yet were completely impressed from the moment we arrived. Front Desk Service was fantastic. Views of the entire city from the Castle. Best Hotel in Old Town Prague. You can choose your own type of pillow. Our package included discounted full breakfast that was world class. Mega great secure internet in our room. Fabulous!

The Golden Well Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel, in a superb location, with first-class staff.
We loved our stay here. From the moment that we arrived we were treated perfectly and dealt with personally as individuals (not just numbers).
The check-in process was thorough, with the concierge giving us a welcome drink, a guided tour of the facilities (which were extensive), free tickets to the adjoining gardens to Prague Castle (the hotel has its own private entrance), a map with recommended tour route (the concierge added notes to it and made comments on the best places to go) - all while our bags were taken up to our room for us. Recommendations were made on where we could book tickets to attend classical music concerts as well (we expressed an interest).
When we arrived in our room, the concierge went over some of the highlights of the room - the iPad for our use during our stay, the Nespresso machine, the automated toilet (yes, like in Japan), etc. There was fresh fruit waiting for us, an iPod dock playing relaxing music, fresh bottled water on the beside tables, and delightful little morsels of cake beneath glass bells to keep them fresh.
Each day, between 4pm - 6pm, the hotel puts out complimentary cakes in the communal lounge area. There was a large collection of DVDs in the lobby that we could borrow. Each day, after cleaning your room, a little card is placed on the bed indicating what the weather will be like tomorrow, so that you can plan accordingly. Furthermore, the hotel offers a pillow menu - yes, you can actually select from a menu of pillows!
These were just a few of the nice little touches that were offered in addition to all of the features that one would expect from an establishment of this grade.
The hotel has an award winning restaurant, and although we did not use it (I'm far too fussy), we did see it and looked through the menu. It had a great atmosphere and fantastic views over the city.
On the evening before our departure, we were called to see if we needed any help getting back to the airport (I.e. transfer service). Although we had already booked our taxi, it was an appreciated offer.
This is a perfect little hotel, with superb value for money, in a very convenient location for the local sights. I would highly recommend it and would be happy to go back.response / report this review -

we had a awesome time at this restaurant. good food, excellent service and huge view over the city! though we were the only guest during lunch, but we had a blast there. we will be back!!thank u

I stayed at this hotel in late 2014 and it completely lived up to its reputation -- excellent location, beautiful rooms, fantastic restaurant, and superb service -- if I ever have the chance to return to Prague, this is where I want to stay.

This is a beautiful hotel just below the walls of the Prague Castle. It is a boutique hotel with unique rooms. I loved it. There are only 17 rooms, so they can be booked during popular times. I have been there twice and enjoyed both times.
