Great collection of artifacts. It would be perfect if they had a guide or recorded descriptions of items and their stories.

Worth visiting to get a taste of the history of the island. Amazing excavations have filled a relatively small museum but the knowledge and the passion of our guide carried us away to another era. Recommended 👌

The museum is amazing, and the collection of pottery is priceless. I personally believe that the museum is one of the best in the world. You should remember that the facility is closed no Monday, so plan your time properly.

Excellent Cyprus Archaeological Museum Tour which is on Tuesdays and Fridays starting at 11am. The guide gave an in depth overview and history of civilization on the island from prehistoric times to the early Christian period showing pottery, jewelry, sculpture and coins from the Neolithic period to the Bronze Age, Iron Age and the Greco-Roman period.

    Must see while in Nicosia.

Amazing collection of artefacts - an entire terracotta army discovered (we all know about the Chinese one); giant bronzes; marble statuary this really is a must - see museum. A pity it is not more widely known about.

Wonderful tiny archaeological museum. Very old-fashioned, if that is what you like then it is GREAT. Lots of pottery and statuettes.
