  The museum was ok for the entrance fee. There was limited information about the exhibitions. Also the staff at the reception were not the friendliest which wasn't a great start. One lady sat reading her book and didn't acknowledge us. The other was talking on a mobile phone and served us without talking to us, giving us a leaflet in the wrong language as a result.

  One of the most important tourist attractions in the city of Ayia Napa, Cyprus, it contains ancient fossils of some animals and humans and many fish and animals stuffed skillfully as well as contains a huge ancient glider, and many things that must be seen.

  Not the most in depth museum experience due to a noticeable lack of content vs the entrance fee. However, you do leave with a yearning for more knowledge which can only be positive.

  I found this place very interesting and informative 😀 I would like to give it 5 stars, but, two things made the experience less than it could have been 😑 Firstly, the lighting was poor and meant my dear Wifey was unable to read some of the information about the exhibits. Secondly, some exhibits are in a poor condition and need a little attention. Nevertheless, a very good museum. The story and artifacts surrounding the ancient Greek merchant ship are worthy of a visit 😀

  We thought when we arrived that we'd be in and out in 30 minutes as it seemed small - in fact we were there nearly 2 hours as there is so much to see!!! There's something for everyone: history, geography, geology, archaeology, maritime artefacts (replica ships no less) and life-sized examples of common sea creatures of today and land animals from the past. If you need a quiet day out of the sun, this is perfect. Plus it's totally accessessible whatever your mobility requirements.

  This museum has a good selection of fossils and prehistoric pottery, but the star of the show is a beautifully preserved boat from classical times. If you want to imagine what Odysseus and his like might have sailed in, here it is, big as life and twice as handsome. Pleasant modern building, with the usual rectangle obsession and lots of marble. Well worth the visit.

  Если посмотрели все, то можно и в музей сходить. Но детям будет скучно. Вход 4 евро. Внутри приятно и прохладно. На 1 этаже размещены чучела рыб, от которых очень неприятно пахнет. Состояние чучел такое себе. Сьемка разрешена. Людей очень мало.
