3rd day here. Personal experience so far steam room and sauna both have to be booked in advance, only discovered this when I went to use them. No clear notice of this. No irons in rooms, you have to book ironing room so I did only to discover the irons were not working. Rooms are a dated and some of the plug sockets are faulty in terms of the plug will not fit in all the way. Strict dress code for evening meals in the hotel of formal shirt and formal shorts minimum, stayed out all day in my vest, came back to hotel through reception to get to my room, the guy on reception saw this (watched me walk in) and approached me to tell me about this strict dress code, so I explained the iron was not working in the ironing room and that I was out all day and that he watched me walk in and he was very rude in the way he spoke to me to which I was even more ruder to him! Also DO NOT HAVE A MASSAGE FROM THE BALD HEADED GUY! He has messed my whole body up and my body now feels twisted all the time. Overall impressions most of the staff are not professional and give the impression they don’t care. Apart from this there are some good views and the food is good but not spectacular. Not worth the 3.5k we paid for 5 of us for 7nights. St Elias hotel in Protarus is so much better. Even more so Halkidiki in Greece the Sani Resort where I’ve been many times and believe me that is an amazing experience and first class service with attention to detail of the finest form!

Not happy given a self catering room being on all inclusive this is not good.however well done moved us to the correct room really good.

We visited friends from overseas staying there. The place looks great and the view is breathtaking. Our friends were pleasantly surprised by the food served too. On the minus side: To get to the deck you have to go through the dining room. As you do that, you see an array of decorative glass vases (some with candles) which frankly haven't been dusted in a couple of years. By now, they need a good scrub with window cleaner or vinegar. It's a shame for an establishment with so many stars. Also, why would they not serve Cypriot coffee outside or offer sugar for a double espresso?

Lovely location and wonderful setting on the seafront with coastal walks to enjoy.
The rooms are tired and basic and in need of updating.
The communal areas are lovely.
Would visit again.

Great view of the sea. On the beach great service. Elevators are a bit wierd as you have to press the buttons after the arrows dissapear but your not told that. Beautiful location.

The hotel is located comfortably away from the city, so if you want peace and quiet you won't be disturbed by the nightlife. And if you want to party it's just a 15min walk and you are in the middle of the nightlife.
It's close to the beach (5min walk), the rooms are clean and the staff friendly (very). The food in the all inclusive is just ok (with some highlights) and the reason for why I deducted a star.
Plenty of nice pools and the gardeners are doing a great job creating a beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

A fantastic family holiday at an amazing and beautiful location. Initially I was a bit skeptical when the other half booked Ayia Nappa as it's usually associated with clubs , drunks and youngsters but you could not be more wrong with this place. It's very family friendly but still relaxing and as its on the very edge of town so it's a nice quiet location , although a little remote if you like a walk with the kids.

Pools:
The place is immaculate especially the pool areas which are permanently manned buy very attentive pool maintenance team who are constantly cleaning both pool areas and fixing any minor problem. I've never seen such clean and pristine pools and sunbed areas. These guys do an amazing job around the pools, and well worthy of staff praise.

The upper pool is the activities pool with a swim up bar plus infinity pool sides on some of it.
The lower pool is the relaxing pool with a bar, this has rules about no ball games and water guns, I think some parents need to read the signs around the pool and respect the hotels rules and other guests, this pool also has an adults only infinity pool with amazing sea views.

Sunbed:
As mentioned on here previously the sun bed reservation issue is a touch annoying. Someone mentioned 6:30 ? At that time most are already gone. If you want a pool side location so you can keep an eye on the kids you'll need to be up with the early birds at 5am !! :-( . The hotel does have a policy of no bed reserving before 8:30 and a manager did make an attempt to remove towels that were left unattended, which just resulted in everyone going down earlier and sleeping there for the rest of the morning. Annoying , but not sure realistically what they could do about it?

Rooms:
Good rooms and perfectly adequate. They could do with an update but on holiday you only really use it for sleeping in so who cares about minor decor points. Everything worked and we had a great sea view from 316, only slight gripe is above rooms 315>317 is the main bar which has a large wooden floored 'bar-stool' area around it, the stools and chairs make a really annoying noise on the floor especially if you are trying to get to sleep.. Didn't bother us too much as we just stayed up a but later (in the bar) :-)

Food: (*****)
For an all inclusive buffet the food is simply stunning, I've been very disappointed in the past by many Tui resorts all inclusive restaurants and food quality but here it's simply amazing. Great quality food in generous portions. The 'Fish night' is stunning with tons of gorgeous Squid,Octopus, Salmon , Swordfish etc. Lost count how many times I went back for more!
The only poor point is the drinks service at dinner. The staff take your drinks orders at dinner as for some reason they disable the drinks machines, the staff are very busy and our family group frequently had huge delays in getting our drinks and they also got the orders wrong. At one point they served my 8yr old daughter with a Rum & Coke instead of a Coke, I understand it was mistake and the staff are rushed off their feet but the drinks service slightly undermines the restaurants brilliance.

Bars:
All drinks you could imagine ( in local makes ) along with fruit, sandwiches, popcorn and icecream, did get a little busy at times as some of the time only one person was serving but good service from all the barstaff but especially Maria who frequently ran the bar by the relaxing pool, she was amazing and always friendly and smiling.

Bit like Fawlty Towers , tries hard but fails . They take your drinks order when they take you to your table , then you wait and wait . Bar upstairs serves warm beer , didn't seem to understand . Lot of new staff even though it was late in the season . Door key kept on failing , electric tripping off in room . Tried to put us in a bungalow even though we booked a hotel room , no entertainment , that said we did enjoy ourselves

The hotel offers very cost-effective "bungalow" rooms with double and two single beds as well as small kitchen area. Also, apart from 3 pools for adults, there's a separate area for small kids (separate pool and playground) and another playground for older kids. Very big, picturesque and quite well-attended territory coupled with quite decent food, makes the hotel good for family visits. Though, the buildings and rooms (at least bugalow ones) are old and furniture is quite used despite some cosmetic renovation efforts across both public areas and rooms. Concerning the latter, lack of electricity sockets (3 for a big room with 3 beds, not close to bed), low ceilings, poor interior decoration and furnuture, together with small poorly lighted bathroom make the room look unattractive and even disappointing to some extent. Luckily, availability of decent WiFi connection across the whole (big!) territory somehow compensates for poor room environment :)
