We took back a gift bought for our child at their christening as they were surplus to requirement, I wanted to EXCHANGE, not to return. Anyway the lady that owns the shop was super rude, arrogant and reminded me of how shopping used to be back in 1974. She said she had no summer stock because she had packed it away and things that were bought a week previously were SLASHED in price and we weren't allowed to exchange with any other sale items. The whole time we were choosing exchange items she was huffing and puffing and getting annoyed that I didn't latch on to her every suggestion.
