A hidden gem in the old town of Paphos. A very old hotel, one of the first ones in the city, renovated but with the original atmosphere being intact. A very nice place for a coffee or a meal, the garden in the centre of the building is just beautiful.

Never stay there! The owner is aggressive scammer! He posts nice pictures, but accommodates in small, ugly, noisy rooms NOT in historical part of the building. If you read other negative reviews you will find a lot compains about scam, double charges, Police coming and other critical issues.

The advertising says this is the hysterical building, but actually one part is a regular. We have ordered the historical room for New Year night. It was a surprise to get the small room with NO heating in winter time, lkea bed, weak and not clean bedding, leaking roof, no wi-fi and some engine noise coming outside all the time. The is also was a drunk party on the backyard with the owner and his friends. We asked to change the room and get the aggressive “F$%k you”. We have to move to another hotel and it was very cozy for the same price. Then we returned next morning, there was no breakfast served as the owner was drunken. Finally, the owner faked the receive and try to double charge us. The are no living conditions, no refunds, no service at all. This is and absolutely unappropriated place to stay.

Pleasant winter night in quiet Old Paphos
Small boutique hotel in the heart of the renovated Paphos old Town. Old Italian style building with authentic atmosphere but somewhat dated rooms. The leisure/sun traveler might find it disappointing as its neither close to the beach not offer any facilities for leisure but people who wish to stay in the Old Town (and close to Karavella intercity bus station) will find this hotel to be pleasing and with very good value for the money. Some excellent restaurants and bars are just around the corner. Breakfast was typical Cypriot basic breakfast.

Hotel stay was adequate. We had high expectations following the meal we had in the restaurant earlier in the week. However the hotel proved to be dated and tired and I think the level of service could best be described as 'disinterested'. Such a shame.

Amazing food. Excellent hospitality. The restaurant was very cozy, the personnel very friendly and the food was finger-licking-delicious. The location is very central. Close to other shops.
10/10 would recommend.

We have stayed for the night on 2 occasions now. Service is very homely. The restaurant is rated 1 of only 3 in the island cyprus to have the real original cuisine. Rooms are arranged and furnitured in a typical south mediterranean way. As the building is classical and in the old town it fits well. The garden is a beautiful garden of Eden. With Greek statues, trees and plants. If you're in the neighbourhood and looking for original place to stay. This is the place to be.

It is quiet and peaceful. Excellent value for money. The food was homemade and very good. Our room was small but adequate. The decor etc is a bit tired. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

DON'T GO HERE! The whole place is on a building site! The owner becomes aggressive if you even mention it. There are diggers racing up and down all night and people drilling. The owner is called gypsey George and he has no eyebrows. You have been warned!

I was at the Kiniras hotel last week. On my first day I slipped and fell down some wet wooden stairs. There were no warning signs so I had no idea the stairs were wet. I was in a lot of pain and an ambulance was called. For some reason George brought a police officer into the hotel and the police officer didn't even talk to me. It seemed like he was trying to cover himself. I was in hospital for a couple of hours. When we came back the owner George seemed to know I hadn't broken anything because he said he called the hospital. We noticed that there was hazard tape everywhere on our return so he obviously knew he should have prevented the accident with some warning signs.

I could not go anywhere because I was in a lot of pain. I went and had a meal with my son and sister. We were under the impression the meal was complimentary because of a conversation my son had with George. I could not stay because I felt unwell and went back to my room. George charged us for the meal which included wine he brought to the table. It was really upsetting that we were treated like that. My son told me that George became nasty when my son queried the bill. He also demanded payment for the room there and then. He said you get your lawyers on me.

George was not concerned with my injury or customer satisfaction but his own interests. When things go wrong you don't want to try to negotiate with George. He has not replied to my daughter's complaint email and refused to speak to her on the phone. You are better off finding a friendlier establishment.

Superb meal in beautiful surroundings with its extraordinary Greek decor (I felt like one of the God's!
We ordered small Meze!??..and in true Greek/Cypriot fashion it kept coming!!!
Near the end of the meal, friendly owner George sat down with us and he was good company :)
Turns out the waitress accidentally ordered Large but he didn't mind and much to his delight, I manged to eat everything (at a slow pace which was required ;)
No Rush even though we spent 3 hrs eating

Certainly one of many highlights on this wonderful island and will certainly book a room for any future visits to pafos
