Where do I begin :)
I was dreaming of rhinoplasty for many many years and at some point it became kind of a unreachable dream since I was afraid of the anesthesia, the end result, the pain ect ect you name it. In the end - I am writing the review now being 4 weeks post-op.
I visited several doctors here in Cyprus, had online consultations too, but only with Dr Stavrou I felt confident and after a first appointment decided to give it a go and schedule the date for surgery.
After some weeks I decided to add the breast augmentation to the surgery - because, why not? Thats was my second dream-operation I thought I will never do due to all of the above reasons.
Anesthesia was the best thing that happened to me :) As I had the best sleep ever and no aftermath at all, now I know that anesthesia is one of the things that should not worry you at all. Literally the most scariest thing turned to be the most pleasant from the whole surgery.
As dr Stavrou promised - there was minimal discomfort, almost no pain (breast didnt bother me at all), I had some bruising as I usually bruise easily, but it went away on 4-5th day.
Now I have the most natural-looking nose (no one ever realized I have done something to it) + full breathing functionality (I had Z-shaped deviated septum), the most natural-looking beautiful breasts that make everyone think I was born this way :)
A lot of people were convincing me that its better to do the surgery in Russia or else-where, if you are in doubts now and same people surrounding you - just go to one consultation with Dr Stavrou, you will have the needed confidence to know you are in the right hands.
Cant thank enough Dr Stavrou and dear Zoe for the amazing assistance before-during and after the surgery and of course for my amazing results!

I recently met Dr Stavrou to discuss the removal of my implants after a capsular contracture.
My implants were 5 years old after replacing 10 year implants before .
I felt very comfortable and Dr Stavrou explained everything in detail and advised to remove the implants and have a breast lift at the same time.
I am 7 weeks Post Op and so happy with the results .

I am patient of Dr Stavrou who has done a rhynoplasty 7 weeks ago. I am beyond satisfied and happy with my new nose ! It was very worth it to wait and to choose Dr Stavrou as my surgeon especially that it was a correction.
I must mention that the whole process was very smooth, no pain nor too much discomfort. After the 4th week my nose started to settle very nicely and I feel so confident now to look at my profile in the mirror 🙂 Once again I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for the remarkable job Dr Stavrou has done to me. I got my nose done 2 weeks ago. I chose Dr.Stavrou to perform my surgery and I couldn’t be happier with the decision I made. Dr.Stavrou and his team were all so nice and kind, answered all my questions and explained the whole process of what to do before and after surgery. Recovery was pain free with very minimal bruising under my eyes which went away after 3 days. Now I have a very cute, natural looking nose which functions perfectly.

It took me more than two years to make the decision for a rhinoplasty surgery.. The process? Quick and smooth. Pain? ZERO. The result: I only regret for not doing it earlier so I suppose this statement speaks for itself. An amazing doctor supported by a super team of professional ladies that are always there to answer to any queries, provide guidance etc. always with a big smile.

I am 6 weeks post op (breast augmentation/ under muscle) now and I just love the outcome of the appearance after my surgery. I had no issues before and after the surgery (the pain that “everyone” was telling me that I would have post op was as if I had worked out at the gym after taking a year’s break.. Resting and sleeping were are the top of my list and then in Day 4 and 5 I started feeling my old me again without even taking any meds). I had visited a couple of places before choosing the European Institute of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Stavrou made me feel more comfortable than any other place! He was patient and willing to answer any question I had. He understood what results I wanted and gave me just that! Dr Stavrou, thank you so much for being so kind and available during the process and for the amazing job you have done!

I had skin graft treatment for a facial skin defect. Dr Stavrou went well beyond anything I could’ve expected. He helped me so much. He is genuine, honest and caring and is only after the best results not the most expensive treatment unlike some other doctors out there. I can’t reccomend him and his team highly enough. I been to numerous surgeons all over the world with my medical issue and Dr Stavrou was by far the best!

I had a broken nose and received plastic surgery by Dr.Stavrou ! Highly recommended doctor, professional and communicational. Shows interest in the patient feelings and worry and makes you feel comfortable and stress free. There was no pain involved in the recovery and no mark an operation was ever executed. Very natural results, highly recommended !

I had a breast augmentation and blepharoplasty.

Dr Demetris Stavrou is one of a kind! Perfectionist! An artist! A very kind PERSON and DOCTOR! A young and fully experienced scientist! His approach with his patients, is unique and generous! Always by your side, for your fears and queries! Something that was extremely important for me!!!
I am proud of my doctor! My instinct and my leap of faith to him from the very beginning, did not disappoint me at all.

Words will never be enough to express my thanks to Dr Stavrou for his incredible expertise and absolute perfection in my Breast Reduction Surgery! Dr Stavrou was the first plastic surgeon that I visited and the only one! He gained my trust from the very first consultation. For me what makes the Doctor stand out is that he is not only a great surgeon but he is also a great artist, his surgery and his beautiful results are truly a work of art. I speak from my own experience with Dr Stavrou as he has completely reconstructed my breasts and the transformation is unbelievable. I can not describe in words how grateful I am for his beautiful work! Неделю назад у меня была операция по увеличению груди с доктором Ставру. С первого приема в его кабинете и до сих пор только положительные эмоции.
Я очень довольна результатами, даже на таком раннем этапе.
Сразу после операции присутствовала небольшая боль; но я могла поднять руки, и попить воды или даже поесть в больнице. Вернулась домой в тот же день. Первая ночь была трудной, из-за необходимости спать только на спине :)), и было трудно встать с кровати, без посторонней помощи, так как использование рук было болезненным. Но, с небольшой практикой и некоторыми болеутоляющими, я смогла это сделать. Я даже поехала за покупками с моей подругой на следующий день после операции, так как очень хотелось примерить новое нижнее белье)). Душ принимала тем же днём, без труда. Я даже смогла вымыть волосы сама, через 2 дня после операции. Вернулась на работу через 3 дня после операции.
В целом, я ожидала гораздо больше боли и постельный режим, так как очень много страшных историй в интернете. Но, кроме ночей, когда мне все еще неловко спать на спине, я чувствую себя хорошо с первого дня. Использовала болеутоляющие только в течение 2х дней.
Я рекомендую Димитриса Ставру, он настоящий профессионал и всегда подберёт оптимальный вариант для вашего тела. Я благодарна ему за результат и рада что доверилась именно ему.
Небольшая боль первых дней уходит быстро, но большие результаты остаются.
I have 2 kids and after I stopped breastfeeding, my breasts, from full and round, just went small and flat. I had my breast enlargement surgery a week ago with Dr Stavrou. From the first appointment in his office and until now, I have had only positive emotions. Dr Stavrou explained in details the process, as well as recommended the right size for my case. I am very pleased with the results, even at such an early stage. Right after the surgery, I was sleepy due to the anesthesia, and had minor pain. But, I was able to lift my hands and drink water or even eat in the hospital. Went home the same day. The first night was difficult, due to the necessity to sleep on my back only :)) and it was hard to get out of the bed, without help, as using my arms was painful. But, with a little practice and some painkillers, I was able to do it. I even went shopping with my friend for about an hour the next day after the surgery, as I was very excited to check the variety of sports bra that I had to use now. Used the shower the same day, without difficulty. I was even able to wash my hair alone, 2 days after surgery. Went to work 3 days after the surgery. Office work. I don’t lift any heavy things and I am careful with any sudden moves. Overall, I was expecting much more pain and bed regime. But, except for the nights, when I still feel uncomfortable to sleep on my back only, I had been feeling well since day one. Used painkiller pills only for the first 2 days. I read a lot on the internet and I was worried that the pain would be terrible and that I won’t be able to function for 2 weeks at least, but, honestly, even though I still wear the special bra, I am so excited with the results and happy that the recovery process was so much less painful than expected. Also, the marks under my breasts are very small and barely noticeable. I have seen some other doctors, but I definitely recommend you Dr Stavrou for this surgery. Don’t be afraid, the little pain during the first days goes away fast, but the great results remain. Listen to him, he is a real professional, and I am thankful that I have listened to my instincts in choosing him and entrusted him with such a personal matter.response / report this review -

No further delay
I would like to share my experience with Rhinoplasty.
It took me many years to decide to go ahead with this procedure. I was worried that my appearance would change significantly, but mainly I was afraid of postoperative pain. I had heard various rumors
My fears proved wrong, as I chose the right doctor for the operation. And choosing the right doctor is the most important factor. My experience with doctor Stavrou exceeded my expectations, for that I can highly recommend him.
The result of the Rhinoplasty is very natural. Under no circumstances did I feel pain, as opposed to what I had heard.
Do not postpone your decision because you are afraid of postoperative pain. In 10-15 days all bruises disappear and you can go anywhere, feeling and looking refreshed/ renewed.

Where do I begin? A few months ago, I was in the same position as you; researching plastic surgeons, reading reviews and making enquirers. Finding Dr Stavrou can be best described as finding the needle in the proverbial haystack!
Not only is he a lovely person but a very talented and artistic surgeon. When I first met him, he was reassuring and his confidence and honesty lay all my concerns to rest and quite simply, won me over.
His knowledge and experience, not to mention his helpful and friendly staff, made my experience phenomenal. I cannot recommend him enough! As I discovered so will you i.e. the end results will be way beyond your expectations.

I had recently a functional/cosmetic surgery on my nose performed by Dr.Demetris Stavrou.
Following the operation i felt no pain at all which is of course great news for me! From day 1 i feel very taken care of by Dr. Stavrou and i felt confident that making the decision to have surgery was right for me.
Although on early stages as my nose needs time to heal,i am very happy with the operation and am confident with the continous guidance,support and trust Dr.Stavrou provides me,the recovery process will be as smooth as possible!!

Beautiful clinic with highly professional doctors. I can say out of experience from the very moment one enters the clinic he/she feels in safe hands. The stuff and doctors are amazing and welcoming and the clinic itself is modern, elegant and fresh with a twist of Hollywood style. Not to mention cleanliness 👌🏻 the doctors which I had the pleasure to meet, Dr. Stavrou and Dr. Panagiotides are of high quality and very professional and helpful and guide you with all the useful information you need and mostly make you feel very comfortable from the very first time; so you are able to trust them with anything that falls in their hands.. I met Dr Stavrou at a very low point in my life, last November when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and on top of that told that I had to have a unilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with a tissue expander. Despite my shock, I had expressed the desire to also have a breast augmentation (something I had always wanted but never got around to doing) after the expansion, so he was recommended to me by my breast surgeon. The truth is I was too numb to look for another plastic surgeon myself at the time, or even research his credentials.
During the seemingly long months of tissue expansion (only 4 in reality), I discovered, not only what a great doctor he is, but also what a great person he is. Even though everything was going very smoothly, I always had concerns and questions and he was always available to address them.
To cut a long story short, it’s now 5 ½ months later and I have a great set of implants and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I honestly think that he is one of the reasons that I kept so positive and optimistic throughout two surgeries and the recovery period after them. He is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had and believe me during these last few months after my diagnosis, I had like a zillion of them…!!!response / report this review -

The best doctor on the island- BY FAR!! Words cant express how gratefull i am to him for giving me my long lost confidence back(nose botched at a previous operation). After what had happened to me, i was very sceptical and distrustful towards doctors. I visited others aswell but no one could really understand what i went through and what i was looking for (reconstruction of the nose). Up until i met Dr. Stavrou - one consultation with him was enough to gain my trust. He will answer every possible question you might have(i know cause i must have asked him like a hundred ☺), honest and straight forward, professional but nevertheless compassionate, exceptional at what he does but at the same time humble. He is by your side every step of the way and you cant help but feel that you are in the safest hands in the world. An excellent doctor - A wonderful human. Just superb.
