Whereas the coffee I had was good and well-priced, actually getting to the place was a bit of a nightmare. No thought has been given to providing parking places and cars are strewn haphazardly along the road.

We LOVE this place! It was our second time and are looking forward to the next Just one fault that I would definitely change- breakfast could be improved. Fresh and warm pastry (which are pretty dominant in the breakfast manu) would make it wonderful. Other than that- great staff, service, rooms and view!

Restaurant review only: nice setting, menu looked promising, poor knowledge of Cypriot wines from the waitress who was unable to advise us at all, food was ok but we were expecting more. There was hardly any meat on the rabbit stifado and the pasticho was pretty stodgy. Wouldn't go back given the number of other nice restaurants in the village.

Nice quiet place!
We have a one night stay and checked in to small cozy room with slight touch of traditional Cyprus lifestyle. Room is clean, some beers in the fridge available 😀.
The hotel has several buildings and is multilevel as well as the village itself.
There's a funicular which takes you from the reception below up to the Pantheon flats where we stayed.
The village resides on both sides of the small canyon with the river on the bottom. Nice view of the mountains touching the clouds and red old fashioned roofs!

Kalopanayiotis is one of the most interesting resorts in Cyprus. It is located in the Marathasa Valley on the Troodos range approx 70 kms from Nicosia and Limassol. This beautiful complex of old traditional village houses is just amazing. We got here over winter time and the views, colours are simply amazing. Stuff are friendly although i believe they could be better. I'venoticed that some of the waitresses dont know how to behave some times and their service in the restaurant isnt the expected. I believe hospitality and welcome treats should be a must here. Rooms are clean, warm and cozy and try and get one with a veranda. Anyway I would definetly recomend this to anyone visiting the island.

Great complex in the village. Very friendly people and good facilities including sauna and, optional at a cost, fireplace rooms that we will choose next time. Good value if booked in advance. Will definitely go again
