Really enjoyed this Hotel once we had upgraded. Original room had " side sea view" , it was really view of hotel being built next door and car park. Next room was excellent. Descent to beach difficult for older guests. Staff and hospitality excellent.

This was our second stay at this place and in all honesty it didn't feel like the first time. This maybe due to our state of minds at the the differing times or our expectations. However we did have a very nice stay and will probably stay again.

Fantastic hotel. We held our wedding reception there on the unity terrace for about 65 people and it was amazing. Food was great and the view was fantastic only thing was the service was a small bit slow because of the layout of the terrace but that would be difficult to fix.

The wedding coordinator was very helpful to us throughout the process. For the dancing we moved inside to the Corinthian ballroom. Luckily we did as a storm arrived just as we were finished dinner. First rain since January we were told (wedding was in May).

As regards the wider hotel the hotel is quite nice. The age profile of the residents is generally older from our experience here although I honk that is similar to most hotels with younger people favoring Airbnb’s.

Has a very nice pool and a pool bar and is literally right beside the beach.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Firstly all the staff were friendly and welcoming. My husband and I struggled to find a ‘halal’ restaurant in the surrounding area but the solution was right under our noses. After talking with Raj (one of the hotels staff) we were introduced to a fantastic chef called Dimitri who spent time explaining which meals and dishes were halal. If there was no halal option Dimitri gladly made us a halal dish in the hotels beautiful restaurant.
We were greeted every morning/ evening by managers including Christopher who couldn’t do enough for us. Truly made us feel special celebrating our honey moon at Alexander The Great.
We would recommend this hotel to any couples and families. The hotel was spotless and fully equipped with everything you might need.
We hope to return one day

It is really a very good hotel, better than it's four stars rating. The most memorable thing is the service and one can really feel how they truly strive for excellent service. We had a room to the see, and I don't recommend rooms in the other direction since they are on a busy street. The food was good with a nice variety for breakfast and dinner. We dinned once at the Garibaldi restaurant which was excellent. I recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel, luxury style. It's a pity that in the winter time most of the hotel's restaurants are closed. There is a free wifi, although in my room it was very slow and disconnecting from time to time. There is a free parking onsite, but not many parking spaces. Pool is very nice - outdoor and indoor. The breakfast is amazing, with wide selection of eggs, cheese, pastries, fruits and vegetables.

We liked the hotel, the staff is polite and there to assist 24/7. The rooms are very clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. They are not too spacious, but that's ok. The hotel is nicely located within walking distance of the center of kato Paphos and the harbor.

Really lovely. Clean, comfortable, welcoming and every requirement you may have - big or small, is met with a smile. Staff are so very helpful. It's my second stay at this amazing hotel and I'm sure I will be back again.

My husband & I have just returned from a two week stay at Alexander The Great Beach Hotel Paphos. We holiday at this hotel at this time every year and would highly recommend it. It is perfectly positioned on the sea front with lovely views towards the old harbour at Paphos. The food is of excellent quality and the restaurant staff could not be more attentive & pleasant. The evening entertainment is first class and of extremely high standard. All hotel staff from the General Manager down endeavour to make sure that you are comfortable and feel at home. From the moment you arrive until you leave you do feel at home and are met with smiles everywhere. I would recommend a front sea view room where you can enjoy the lovely views and watch the sunset in the evening.

We arrived in Cyprus on September 30th 2017 for a week's holiday and stayed at Alexander the great hotel in paphos. We had a wonderful holiday the management and hotel staff were magnificent the food was excellent. We are looking forward to seeing you's all again in 2018

Our first time in Cyprus, hotel was an excellent choice by my husband, from the time of arrival until departure the service was second to none. The staff are there to assist with whatever your require, nothing is too much trouble. This added to the enjoyment and experience for us. We will definitely return as we both felt it was value for money.

A great hotel with some excellent service. From the point we checked in and got a welcome drink, to the standard of the rooms and the whole hotel. The hotel is well maintained and so are the rooms. Cleaned well and the staff are please to and helpful. The food so far has been excellent with plenty to suit everyone.

The view is lovely and the sunbeds are organised so you can keep a set sun bed for all your stay. The pools are a nice temperature and allow for a nice dip and to relax out of the sun.

Drinks and cocktails are all priced around €6 each and upwards so not awful. I'd suggest popping to the shop across the road to pick up some bottles of water, the rooms tend to stay fairly cool so the water will stay cool too.

All in all a nice hotel, good location and we had great weather ranging from 24°c to 37°c.

Our overall experience of staying at the Alexander the great hotel has been excellent. From our arrival at the Reception desk throughout the stay. All the Staff were very professional and nothing was too difficult for them. They were thorough, very understanding and courteous, it was indeed a great pleasure looking forward to attending all the mealtimes. They catered for all eventuality whether Guests were Disabled and or unable to help themselves even Parents with Children. The hotel was very well organised in all departments and was always willing get to make guests as comfortable as possible. We will definitely be booking this hotel again and will without any hesitation recommend The Alexander The Great Hotel to our family and friends. Well done to all.

Wow this hotel and resort is one of the very best hotels ever, From the time we arrived to the time we left we were spoilt by staff from breakfast to evening meals and all throughout the day with the pool bar staff. We had our honeymoon here and were treated like royalty not only us but every guest in the hotel were treated superb. The hotel itself is fantastic inside The rooms are really beautiful full sea view from the balcony The food was absolutely lovely a different theme meal every night. I suffer with celiac ( gluten free) and i found a meal every day i could eat so i never became ill, From breakfast to evening meals were great. We cannot say thank you enough to every member of staff for making us feel so welcome and always friendly we could not have enjoyed our holiday as much without all your kind help . We will def. be going back to this resort in the near future.

This is a hotel that prides itself on providing the high quality service. We had a couple of issues on arrival but these were sorted by the duty manager Andreas. I consider it a real measure of the quality of a hotel that they are more than happy to go the extra mile to ensure the customer has the best experience possible. The service and quality of food is some of the best we have experienced anywhere.

Real hotel with a proper reception area. Rooms good (superior), dining experience excellent. All staff friendly & helpful. Came here on recommend & pleased we did. Would return here if we ever did do return visits which we don't. Don't think you'd be disappointed if you came here.
