The staff is very helpful and kind. The guy who helped us rent knew our language. Explained everything with detail, he vent even beyond to please us. It's true that we where there off season so maybe they weren't so full, but still. I highly recommend. The car was not much of a luxury, but was excellent value for money. Enough to take us in safety from A to B.

A bit far from the airport though there is a private car picking up from airport. Drop off the car to this location, they take you to the terminal, about 10 min away. Good road side assistance which is provided only on the southern side (Greek) of the island.

The rental company was meant to met at the airport in the arrivals lounge. After 15 minutes wait I had to call them (international call fees applied) and they let us know that they'll be coming and to wait outside for a car with a given plate number. Once in the office they tell us the only car available is one much larger than the one we had booked, and automatic instead of manual, so not only harder to drive for us, but it required a bigger excess deposit that the one we booked for and had bought insurance for.

Absolutely frightful. Extra insurance was forced upon us with menace and when we returned the (new) car, they tried to find a tiniest scratch, without success. They then accused me of taking a small docket they themselves had mislaid. They are Russian and do not know what it is to do business in a civilised manner - not like kindly Cypriots.

Everything was good, car was bit older with 80k km but in good condition. The procedure while picking up the car and dropping was quite smooth. Very good value for little money . Just the pickup service from airport was bit chaotic.
