5 stars, 2 thumbs up! Our family just returned from the beautiful Santa Barbara Beach Resort in Curacao and we are already planning a return trip. The beach front property is gorgeous - perfectly manicured, so clean, so tastefully designed and the view is stunning. The staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to help you. The food is really good and there are 3 great options including our favorite, Shore, which sits on the waters edge overlooking the sunset - simply beautiful. A big thank you to all especially the awesome pool/beach staff that made our stay so much fun. Keisha, Kaida, Karen, Lynette (and a few others, i am so sorry I forgot a few names!) served us the best drinks and snacks all day long with a big smile and easy conversation. Jaymy at the Splash bar made us feel like friends with his happy and welcoming personality. Maurice and the guys at the activity desk went out of their way to make things fun for our daughter - they are awesome! And Camilla at the beach activity hut took extra time to make her feel so special!! We had an amazing time, met lots of new friends and are counting the days until next time. Thanks so much, Santa Barbara! See you again, soon!

This is one of the High end resorts on the Island , on a very nice location and a great infra structure. At the resort you have the Tafelberg ( table-mountain) within the landscape. Just gorgeous. It is a former plantation and it has Hotel rooms and a golf resort.

Beautiful resort. Amazing staff. Spent 4 days in Curacao and never left resort the entire time. Ask about the snorkeling tour. It's a must do

Overall a good upscale resort and nice facilities. Although the all inclusive plan is crazy expensive ($150 per person per day), there are limited food options in the resort. The resort is also far away from the main areas so going out to eat is not an option unless you have a car or want to pay $40 each way for a taxi.

On the other hand, the service, well, typical laid back to almost non-existent. You have to beg your servers or look for them or fetch them to get some attention. They want to be a 5 start place but the service is more like a 2 star hotel.

Fantastic. Gorgeous. Nice people. Family friendly. The beach is one half coral/rocky/no seating, and the other half public/lounge chairs/man made/sandy. Both are beautiful. It's peaceful even when it's crowded.

I arrived unprepared. Any smoker who travels often knows to bring cigarettes with you on vacation. I forgot to pack them. The resort happened to be out of cigarettes. This was not boding well. I went to the front desk with an ill temper and spoke with Mr. Angelo. He spoke with me calmly and arranged for an employee, Rudolph, to drive off resort to purchase me cigarettes. Amazing. No one made a big deal about it, they just were ready to assist. 30 minutes later they were delivered to my room. Wonderful, wonderful service!

The 4 star plus resort. Santa Barbara is a spot anyone looking to visit Curacao may stay. We drove through other resort areas and the beaches do not compare nor does the quite atmosphere. The facilities are good, service is top-notch, and the beach is phenomenal. They have several restaurants. Thank you to the Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort staff for making our stay in Curacao wonderful. The beach is so safe to swim and snorkel and the water so warm. Choose our breakfast very carefully as it was expensive but lots of choice and if you like to eat a lot It would be worth it. Pool is good. It's a pet friendly resort.

Terrible experience. The pic on the website looks thousand times nicer than in reality. They gave us room overlooking to the parking where big tracks making noises most of the day. When we asked to change our room, they said $50 per night - it’s called an upgraded room. Really?! Thanks.. never again. And I wouldn’t recommend this place (can’t say a resort) to anyone. Poor my husband - this place ruined his the only vacation in this year. Seems like this place is hungry for $$$. It’s my first and last trip to Curacao. I am sure there are a lot of more nicer and Friendly Islands in Caribbean.

We had an incredible experience at the Santa Barbara resort! We visited for my parents 40th anniversary, and would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms/grounds and beach were immaculate, and the setting is gorgeous. Our shuttle from the airport actually dropped off another group at a different resort in town which looked very shady from the outside; needless to say my parents were intimidated at first but SB went way beyond our expectations. We had a large and delicious complimentary breakfast each morning which was a wonderful way to start each day, and had access to their excellent restaurants right on site. The beach, walking trails, and golf course are also top notch. Would highly recommend it, especially in the fall as their hurricane risk is low. Thanks for everything!

Absolutely stunning property! The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and great AC. We had a few issues with the TV and safe but they were resolved immediately. Breakfast was pricey but a good deal if it’s included in your rate. Having Wi-fi only available in the lobby was great for us as it allowed us to completely unplug. Can’t wait to go back!

The resort itself was amazing, but we had multiple issues with "serenity business". This is the company they contract out for transportation and excursions. They left us stranded at the airport at 10pm when we got in, and also left us stranded on a beach, where they were supposed to pick us up. Not the resorts fault, but maybe look into contracting out a more reliable company. This was our honeymoon, and it definitely ruined a lot of hours of our trip. I

The redeeming factor was Jayme. He was our server/bartender. He had a great personality, made amazing drinks and really took care of us. If it wasn't for her, this review would be much different. Thank you Jayme for making our honeymoon mich better

Gorgeous well maintained resort. The food is better then most resorts.but still not goid enough that I wouldn't venture off the resort. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Just rental cars are available because taxi ate costly into the city. The rentals are more then you would spend at the airport.

This is defiantly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at!!!!! The Room service and maids don't do their job, the food is terrible, the waiters are terrible and this hotel is not worth a single penny. Please save your money and go somewhere else

Good service, friendly staff and nice beach. Food was good but it was hard to attain vegetables. Unfortunately there was not much dancing, or entertainment offered. There was a bonfire scheduled but it was cancelled, which was a big disappointment. Definitely a good trip for early birds but there wasn't much nightlife. A good relaxing family vacation spot, but don't expect much partying or events.

Curacao was an incredible island. The views from the hotel were phenomenal, the grounds were very pretty and the food options were great. Friendly staff. The only negatives is that the housekeeping wasn't the best. The floors were so sandy by the time we left, and the junk around the room accumulated (old water bottles, beer cans, etc). I think the only thing they did was replace the towels and make the bed. Other than that we loved our stay at the Santa Barbara!

The restaurant is dark, getting a table at breakfast is complicated. The resort buildings are nice. The service level is sometimes very good, sometimes below.
