I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience that my wife and I had at this resort. We chose Kontiki for our 20th anniversary getaway after an exhaustive search for the perfect place that offered privacy and seclusion while providing local amenities such as food, shopping, and drinks close by. We were not let down. The time that we stayed at this resort were 7 of the best days of our lives, and the staff and crew made our 20th anniversary one that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Two of them, Angelo & Amari (I apologize if I didn't spell your name correctly Amari), went out of their way to help me prepare a surprise anniversary evening including flowers, a sunset cruise, and a private dinner for two on the dock at Mood Beach for me and my wife. Such a wonderful time and experience If I could give more stars I would.

The hotel is too expensive for the service they provide, you always feel a lack of something, it is either not satisfying, too slow or they just do not offer what you would expect from a five star (is it really 5?) ressort.

Probably one of the nicest and smallest Resorts on Curacao. Houses with rooms in tropical wood-hut style. Saltwater pool, whole resort is a jungle. Own beach w/ club. 10min drive to historic city center of Willemstad.

The grounds crew at this resort are the hardest workers my wife and I have ever seen. The location is amazing, great beach, great snorkeling and great access to Mambo beach and the restaurants there. They could rely on their amenities and location alone but seem to be trying to constantly improve themselves which is great to see. Honestly was not fond of their restaurants or the service therein but plenty of options with Mambo beach next door. Make sure you ask for a second door key so you can keep the A.C. on, that advise from a previous review was a lifesaver.

Accommodation is great. (Most of) the staff is barely trained and is unable, or even willing, to give the informant help you need. When it's not busy, some facilities (which are mentioned in the flyers) are closed..

We loved our time there, the garden is so beautiful, the beach is great for swimming and snorkeling, crystal clear water. We didn't really like the Cabana beach restaurant (except the Fish-market-day), but enjoyed the Mood beach restaurant very much.

This is one of the nicest resorts on Curacao. Due to the plants and palm trees they created a natural environment with a lot of privacy. The pools are salt water and cleaned each week. Parking can be done close to the appartments. Note that there are beach parties from Wednesday to Sunday which could give some noises in the appartment. However we did not find it disturbing as it stopped around 1:00. Kontiki is positioned at the beach. Breakfast is a bit expensive so after the first day we bought some muesli and fresh fruits and just eat at the balkony (tip)

liked it but not great. For a luxury resort, they still have a lot to learn regarding customer service and quality overall

The beach area was rebuilt and now it is a typical American mall on the beach. Beach is very crowded but very clean. The ocean wall makes the ocean like a pool which is very nice for the kids

Nice resort, however, beach parties went too late into the evening/morning hours. Was not very restful and relaxing on those nights. Stay away if you want peace and quiet.
