The facility is currently undergoing a major renovation. From the looks of it the rooms are getting new windows, and doors, carpet and I'm sure all furniture. The beach and pool areas haven't been worked on yet, but they also need major work. The 1 star is simply because it is a work in progress and the system make me rate it to leave a review. I'm sure it will be back up to Marriott standards soon enough.

What an amazing view and the snorkeling is amazing. Not need to take tours if you go here. We will be back.

Clean and very well kept grounds and facilities. Furnishings could use a little updating. Staff and service are 5 star. Respectful, friendly, accommodating and anxious to serve from the minute you walk up and see the water thru the open lobby.

Beautiful pool and beach. Staff couldn't be nicer. Casino could be better. All in all a great resort!

Resort was great. It was quiet when there so it was extra enjoyable. I didn't like the service charge of 15% on everything I got on premise. I would rather be able to tip based on the service quality rather than a flat rate. One of the restaurants was closed didn't get to try that. The themed food nights were not my favorite.

Curacao is a beautiful island and the Marriott is located on an amazing private beach. I stayed four nights while celebrating my birthday. The service was awesome and the views are spectacular. The rooms, however, are very outdated and are in need of a makeover. I was disappointed, as the rooms were not what I am used to for a Marriott brand resort. Good thing I spent very little time in the room and most of my time at the gorgeous pool and the beach.
