Very simple airport, no WIFI for tourists and very small in general. Waiting there can be quite boring. The WIFI problem can be solved easily by accepting the cards they give you for free. The staff is very nice and helpful and there are lots of people there usually.

Ceiling is falling, looks old and dirty. Small airport does not have to mean bad conditions. Only 3 shops, any posibility of eating anything.

Only one person to handle the visa-on-arrival and he was not very careful with printing and attaching the visa to your passport.
When you exit, beware of the zealous porter who will grab your bag and expect a tip.response / report this review -

Na ultima vez que estive neste aeroporto, o sistema de ar condicionado não funcionava, meu tempo de espera foi uma tortura, devido ao forte calor no local.

Pre-flight security is almost non-existent. Half of our flight (including us), went through security when it was unmanned, meaning we could have taken literally anything on board. One kid had a full-size replica of a handgun (I assume it was a replica). Then, when the departure gate was already half full, they started screening the remaining passengers and just pretended everyone had gone through security.
Not as clean as Fogo, Boa Vista, Mindelo or Sal airports. On the plus side, there was a herd of goats outside (and sometimes inside).response / report this review -
