  Uno dei pochissimi negozi di souvenir realmente capoverdiano; oltretutto sostiene il commercio solidale attraverso una rete di cooperative formate da donne capoverdiane delle varie isole. Vi invito caldamente a fare acquisti in questo negozio diffidando della miriade di senegalesi che vi agganceranno al motto di "no stress".

  True Cape Verde souvenir shop. Visit this place first. Shop is filled with hand made stuff with proper certification. For 15€ we left with a small baggie of goodies with no nagging or hustle. Do not follow anyone that ask you to follow them to their store. Don't let the naggers take you to their "momma shop", "market" or "bazar". They mostly sell mass produced, machine made items at stupid high prices claiming it was made locally

  Djunta Mo Art developing a sustainable local market and enhancing the culture of the Cape Verde archipelago, which is unique in the world. The project fosters and relies on over 40 craftworkers and 2 cooperatives from various parts of the country. Cape Verde is an archipelago consisting of ten islands, each one with its own distinctive features. The rather inefficient transport system makes it pretty difficult to collect and distribute local produce, which is also penalized by the competition of imported goods.
  Djunta Mo Art also supports social initiatives and projects launched by the non-profit organization Nu Bai. Nu Bai promotes several projects, mainly offering school support to women and children from disadvantaged Sal families.

  Piccolo e unico locale dedicato al fair trade, esclusivamente fornito di prodotti completamente prodotti in capo verde, aiuta e supporta lo sviluppo degli artigiani e dal 2015 distributore autorizzato e certificato dal governo di capo verde. Ottimo spunto per chiunque visiti S. Maria, per coloro che amano i oggettistica, prodotti fatti a mano non in serie includendo anche un ottima selezione di grogue, pontch, marmellate artigianali fino a prodotti di fito cosmetica. Forse, non a caso, eletto dai viaggiatori il negozio n1 in classifica tripadvisor nelle 10 isole di Capoverde finalizzato alla creazione di piccoli artigiani, imprenditoria, allo sviluppo delle competenze e alla crescita economica interna del paese. interessante e assolutamente da non perdere.
