Un lindo lugar para visitar y relajar. Las personas son agradables y prestativas. Solo que el precio es muy elevado cuando aplican las taxas de turismo y el IVA. Debian hacer algo para bajar los precios.

Buen sitio para relajarse. Lo único que está un pelin retirado del centro y que cuando fuimos no funcionaba la piscina por manutención. Pero acceso directo a la playa, buen desayuno y el responsable y personal en general muy amables. No la señora que nos recibió, pero un mal día lo tiene cualquiera!

The location is astonishing and a leisurely 15min walk to the city center of São Filipe. It is very quiet and relaxing, and the staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are simple but very clean. The transfer to the airport is done by local taxi drivers who have been working with Casas do Sol for a long time. We were lucky to get Senhor Emílio, who also took us on a tour of the island, specially planned for a 13 year boy, but interesting enough for the mother too. The breakfast presented a lot of local foods and fruits. The WiFi worked very well, as they have several logins, thus lowering the stress on the network.
They DO NOT accept credit cards other than the local bank cards, and we only learned about this on the moment we wanted to pay had to be cash.
The rooms are very hot and since they are kept shut between customers, we had a hard time to lower the inside temperature (even at night, when a cool refreshing wind was blowing outside) so expect to wake up in the middle of the first night with a dry mouth and soaking wet with sweat.
The breakfast area is pleasant, but has a major issue with flies. Even though those flies-catching devices are not very attractive, having one hanging on the ceiling would prevent the bother of continuously having flies swimming in the coffee mug, or landing on the bread.

Hotel con casette a schiera molto confortevoli, con angolo cucina (purtroppo senza stoviglie), patio con tavolo e sedie, e piscina attrezzata che compensa il mare impraticabile e pericoloso per via delle correnti. Percorso riservato che dalla cima della scogliera scende alla magnifica spiaggia nera. Accoglienza attenta, gentile, premurosa e di grande aiuto per l'organizzazione del soggiorno. Consigliato.
