What a beautiful and authentically Cuban destination. This was our favorite portion of our Cuba trip. I cannot wait to revisit Viñales and get more hiking in. The view from the top of a mogote is incredible.

Took a horseback riding to the valley with a nice guide. Took us to the village where they grow tabacco for cigars and show the process. Afterwards a short ride to a pub in the middle of the valley for a cold drink. Everything was beautiful and not too touristic - didn't push us too hard to buy cigars and stuff. You can walk by yourself or take a bike. Recommend.

Great trails, a must do if you visit Cuba, grab a few cigars from the farmers on the way and enjoy the view with a good coffee

so , 3 hours drive from Havana with private taxi ( around 15-20$ per person ).
the valley is near Viniales village . There are a couple of Coffee , Rum and tobacco farms that are reacheble by horse or some , by car. Usually a 5 hour horse ride is around 20$ per person. There is also a small restaurant with food and drinks. Also there are caves, old paintings , a lake for some diving and souvenir shops. In the village there are alot of casa's , with b&b , also a few restaurants and night music. The village is small and beautifull.response / report this review -
