  My partner and I decided to spend a few days in Guardalavaca at the start of our two week holiday traveling through Cuba. We chose Villa Moriah as it had an excellent location near to the beaches but far enough away to get a break from the tourists. We were met on arrival by the mother of the house, a lovely lady called Mirna. She is an excellent, welcoming host with the additional benefit of plenty of local knowledge. One of the highlights of our stay was on the evening of my partners birthday. Mirna arranged for a surprise party providing cake, champagne and food all at her own expense. A very enjoyable evening with all her family.
  
  The rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning, as well as an on suit bathroom. Mirna lays on an excellent breakfast and will provide food and drinks to suit. We both really enjoyed our stay at Villa Moriah! Great memories, we hope to be back again soon.
