Cheap to get into and enjoyed the game. But got blue paint from the seats all over our clothes...a souvenir of the game I guess. The smart locals brought towels to sit on so I am guessing this is a regular occurrence.
Historic locale, but not well kept. Americans, beware - tickets for for Baseball games are only $2 CUC, but if they recognize you are American, they will try to charge you much more.
Nice place to see a game. It normally costs 1CUP to go in to see a game. If you go there as a tourist, they will try to charge you more, as in 1CUC. You should just tell them you have no CUC and insist to pay the normal price. It should normally work, if you speak Spanish.
Or you can maybe try playing dumb and hand over a 1CUP note and just pretend to not understand if they contradict you...
This is the place of postcards! Amazing views and a great place to see the legendary cars from the 1950s.
Watching the Industriales play Matanzas there in October was a highlight of my trip to Havana. The stadium is a little dilapidated but unique and beautiful, like most of Havana.
