We visited the hotel's rooftop for the amazing view of the city as well as to have a drink and food.

I didn't like the sangria as I could feel the crunch of the sugar in between my teeth.

The tuna salad sandwich was good but it came with a drizzle of chocolate sauce on the plate, which I thought was an odd flavor combo.

The rooftop also has a pool and hot tub which I asked and was told is only for the hotel's guests.

The lobby was lively and beautiful with greenery, a glass roof and live music.

Very smart hotel in the centre of Havana.
The staff are incredibly friendly and always happy to help.
Rooms are very generously sized and kept to a fantastic standard.

Great location and the view from the swimming pool was amazing. Breakfast was pretty good with a great variety. Our room was spacious and clear. The staff was polite and helpful. It gets a bit noisy at night form the street but I could cope with it. I would strongly recommend it.

Visited the restaurant. The person that greets at the door was reluctant to use my credit card. The waitresses and waiters were awesome- very friendly and courteous. Quick service. The violin trio played a beautiful mix of 90's Disney soundtracks and local Cuban music. The food and desert were delicious.

Great location, overpriced overall but a nice oasis whilst you explore Havana. Breakfast good but don't touch the butter all we checked was rancid. Sent several back but no improvement. Havana is really interesting but it is beginning to feel as though it will if not already over pricing itself. Get a grip Cuba you will out price the genuine tourist . The two tier price system margins are in ones face.

    Nice hotel.
We stayed in the new part of the hotel.
My only complaint would be the doors that open out to the street need upgrading.
The noise is pretty loud from the streets below. SHOULD not be an issue for a hotel charging £300 + a night.

Stayed here for a week, all the staff were great, not I'm your face but friendly and helpful. The concierge was really good, as was the maid who cleaned out room.

The hotel is in a great location, right in the centre and accessible to all parts of Havana easily.

The pool was nice but always pretty busy, as was the lobby..but this made for a nice atmosphere.

The 50s car drivers outside get a bit tedious with all the pestering to rent a car but I guess it's to be expected.

We enjoyed our stay, it was a buzzy week in an Havana that is beginning to become over touristy, visit soon before its charm is worn out.

Anywhere in Parque Central square is fabulous to see and enjoy. We booked our New Years Eve tickets and enjoyed live music and connected to WiFi here. It is so central to enjoying Havana.

Did not stay in the hotel, but did make use of the lobby's wifi and TV (my hometown Astros were in game 6 of the World Seriesso don't judge me for seeking out TV while in Cuba!) The bar waitstaff are attentive and the drinks were surpisingly affordable. It is a beautiful lobby sometimes with live music.

For Old Town this was a great choice. It is centrally located. AC worked well, as did internet in the lobby. Bed and pillows not that comfortable but room was clean and staff was really nice.

One piece of advice - DO NOT USE THE IBEROSTAR TRANSFER SERVICE. I booked and paid in advance. They met me when I arrived but did not have the car so I had to wait. On the way back to the airport they never showed up and they did not refund the return trip which I had pre-paid. Taxis are abundant and less expensive, as well as more reliable.

I didn't stay here but you can go to the roof top for an amazing sunset. Had I known I probably would have brought my swim suit up here and take a few laps. Otherwise, go here for sunset and some drinks, 3 CUC for coffee and 5-7 CUC for alcoholic beverages. Once the sun sets, go downstairs in the lobby at 9pm as they usually have live music that starts at that time. Bring a cigar or buy one in the gift shop too since you can smoke inside for the ultimate experience. This place gave me one of the most magical moments in Cuba as we had a great sunset with coffee for me and drinks for my lady and as we got out of the elevator a Cuban band started singing the Banana Boat Song which was absolutely amazing. I wish I had a cigar to spark up right at the moment which would have made it perfect but I can't complain. Go here for sure. I also want to mention how nice everyone is here. Every time we walked past an employee they would sincerely ask us if we needed help even if we were randomly walking past it. Amazing service.

4 stars on my western perspective. Probably 5 stars on a Cuban-tourist perspective. Probably the best in whole Cuba - besides the all-inclusive beach hotels. Lots of water in the shower available! Both cold and warm (!) very clean rooms, good breakfast. Perfect location. Has good ETECSA wifi available in the lobby and some rooms. Also cards for sale in the second floor. Very cool swimming pool on top of the building with perfect view on the Capitol.

Very nice hotel. Especially rooftop pool and bar/restaurant. Great view of entire city. There was a live band playing the whole time in the restaurabt then by the pool. Gave a great authentic feel and at the same time we all felt pampered. As far as rooms not sure, we only visited the restaurant and pool.

Wonderful hotel!! Everyone was helpful and very accommodating. Beds were a little hard but it was fine. I loved the security they were very careful not to let people in off the streets that weren't even staying at the hotel after a certain time in the evenings. It made me feel very safe. The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location.

Racist doorman (on Tuesday 24 January at c.6pm). I am British Chinese and recently returned from a 20-day trip in Cuba. I would frequent the Parque Central hotel for food and drinks during my final 4 days in Havana, and found the majority of the staff helpful and welcoming. However, on my last evening in Havana (and in Cuba), rushing to head to the airport, I was treated most appallingly by the doorman on duty that evening (at a time indicated above). He greeted warmly to and let in without questioning a scurry of people (all White but dressed in a variety of way, not necessarily smartly). When it came to my turn, he stopped me from entering and asked how I could be helped. I explained that I wanted to go in to charge my phone and will order drinks and a sandwich (I needed to charge my phone prior to leaving for the airport). I didn't end up staying because I couldn't find a power point and at this point my taxi to take me to the airport was arriving in 15 minutes from my hostel two blocks away. As I left, the doorman said "hello" to me very pointedly and sarcastically, which left a very bitter taste in my mouth. It is regretful that racist sentiments do exists in a minority of people in Cuba. I feel that the management of this hotel should be aware of these incidences, as they reflect very negatively on the reputation of the hotel. Based on the previous reviews, my experience is not unique.

My group recently returned from Cuba. I stayed near Iberostar Parque Central, and would frequent the hotel for the food and drinks, or to meet up with friends who stayed there. The hotel itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the ambience, however most times I visited, myself and other people of color I know were approached by aggressive, rude and hostile staff members who would question why we were frequenting the hotel and on several occasions would not let us in. The entire experience and overt racial profiling was humiliating. I plan on returning to Cuba in the summer and refuse to stay here. There are many other grand hotels in the vicinity that my friends stayed in which were extremely hospitable.

Wonderful experience from the first day. As I didn't know what to expect, I had prepared for the worst. I was pleasantly surprised. Parque Central is easily a 4-Star Hotel, close to a 5. It's location is second to none. The capital, Partagas Cigar factory, the Museum of History, is all within a short walk. Or you can be daring and hire a coco-taxi to take you around. The hotel staff are all fantastic and the pool on the rooftop is great. Don't forget about the coffee bar up there, too.
