I really enjoyed my stay here. I had a swim out room in the elite section. Elite bracelet gets you exclusive access to the adults only pool and the 11th floor restaurant and bar in the main building. The view up there is amazing and the bar there has premium liquor.
The hotel has great nightly entertainment in the main lobby and the entertainment building where they preform the shows. It has a decent gym with machines and free weights.
Pools are nice and beach is great. Both areas have plenty of chairs. There is also a great pool area for kids.
I found the food to be satisfactory but doesn't matter what hotel you stay in Cuba its not the same caliber of food as you would get if you went to Mexico, DR or other carribean countries.
Overall its a great new resort and I would definitely go back and recommend this place to others.response / report this review -

Great new resort, but needs lots of fixing. Been to a lot of "luxury" resorts and this is our favourite. The staff at this resort are very warm & welcoming. The daily entertainment is much better than the other resorts I've been to and guests are very engaged. There is entertainment all day long. Food is the same as all the other All inclusives. Don't expect anything spectacular but it's edible. The beach is one of the best I've seen. Absolutely no seaweed and water is crystal clear and green. Also very shallow. They have sailboats, kayaks and paddle boats that are free to use. Pools are very nice but are underused because of the beautiful beaches. Very easy to find a chair even though the beach is small. Drinks are hit and miss depending on which bar you goto. And make sure you DONT try the hamburger. Maids are great and the mini bar is restocked daily. There is a gift shop but it is very small. Wifi costs 1 CUC per hour and is not very fast. A lot of sites are blocked including Gmail (you'll need a VPN to get around it). Overall had a blast, only a few small annoyances that can be overlooked. But the best thing

Buetifool beach, cristal-clear water, new hotel with large and bright rooms and acceptable food. Improvements in service quality and hotel equipment is needed. The elevators are often out of service. The shows and entertainment are of high quality.

Perfect place for relaxation or have fun.beautiful privet beach ,very nice and friendly stuff .entertainment was excellent.every night was show or life music or DJ. they were professional and supper nice specially Dave Spanish guy and Yanises (Janet Jackson) .food and drink was good .they have regular restaurant +Cuban + Japans + Italian + 24 H. snake bar you can have food too.only negative thing I saw ,was some tourist smoke cigar in main lobby .where some times we watched live music, we couldn't breath .I hope management put non smoking sign. we were 3 family's and stay last week of June for one week but one week is not enough for this place.for sure we will go back again.

Brilliant hotel. I do not know why there's so many bad comments. It's a new hotel with great facilities. All of the staff are really friendly, the beach is great, the rooms are really clean and new.

Great food. Plentiful bars. Staff who want to please and let you enjoy your holiday. Large rooms and comfy beds.
Free waters ports and my first snorkelling dive was memorable.

They still have kinks to iron out but compared to other places here the hotel itself is wonderful. It would be nice if they could add a 24 hour coffee machine to the bar in the front lobby. A hot tub would have been nice.
The Italian restaurant needs the air conditioning fixed as supper there was cold in about 2 minutes as you almost need a winter coat to sit in there. After a day in the sun it's really cold. There were 10 of us and the minute we were done supper we had to leave. The staff is very friendly and helpful.response / report this review -

Unmögliche Planung. Sollte im November 2016 aufgemacht werden. Wir haben im Oktober '16 für 10 April 2017 gebucht. Und am 3 April kam die Nachricht, dass die nicht eröffnet haben. Frechheit. 9 Monate auf die Reise gewartet und 1 Woche vom Abflug so eine Mitteilung. In der Ferienzeit gab's auch keine Alternative. Kinder weinen, Eltern zutiefst enttäuscht. Schock pur! Jetzt finden wir auch keine andere Reise mehr, da es Ferien sind und die Zeit zu knapp ist. Danke Iberostar! Ostern versaut. Wünschen euch das GLEICHE!!! Es müsste eine zufriedenstellende Ersatzlösung angeboten werden. Doch einfach so Menschen fallen lassen ist einfach nur unmenschlich und unmöglich.

I am booked at this hotel for June it's just opened please give this hotel a chance it opens on 1 st may officially it's not fair for people to trash something that has not started in my opinion the negatives are fake and the true ratings will shine through I am sure

Considering the hotel only opened on 15 April, I find it incredible the reviews posted here! Genuine? I'm sure the general public are savvy enough to figure that out! Lena, Jocelyn, Reina, Pierre & Enrique, I as well as the public out there would love to know how you've formed such negative thoughts about a hotel that was not even open at the time your reviews were posted? Trolls? or perhaps more plausible, time travellers!

BAD BAD HOTEL - nightmare hotel - iberostar robs & cheats me & refuse to refund $1500.00 FAKE ROOM UPGRADE - stay away from this mess of a rotten experience with crooked & thieving iberostar nasty rotten thieves
