  Okay hotel for Cuban standard. The food wasn't too bad either. The bar and beach are great and the service i friendly. As an old russian concrete building the architecture is quite uniqe (not a compliment).

  Awful hotel. Should be demolised.
  No hot water
  Leaking water everywhere(including in the resturant)
  Bedbugs, terrible smelll near bar and kitchen.
  Avoid at all costs.

  This is a typical 3-star hotel. Very good with Cuban standard, but rather shabby compared to European 3-star
  Rather bland food, but with good variation, not even lemon for the fish
  Staff is rather uninterested in helping you, even though you're fluent in Spanish. But yet again, rather typical for Cuba. Socialism isn't a very good soil for service professions The hotel is rather far from Trinidad, and no other entertainment closer by, so prepare to pay 25-30CUC for taxi (25-30 euro).
  The hotel animation/entertainment is rather sketchy - about half or less of the program is cut and no information about it.

  Decent beach, hotel is ok to Cuban standards, could use restoration, pool was drained and unusable. Rooms are big and fairly clean, but that is it. Staff tries hard but there is a lack of about everything, especially in the restaurant. If you want to snorkel, around the wooden remains of a pier there is a bit too see, otherwise pretty boring.

  Socialstic ramshackle tristesse at its best on a very poor standard compared to european hotels. Not to compare to a good casa particular.
