Service was very good and by visiting a day early to book in advance, my wife and I were able to secure the premium spot on the balcony to get the best view of the sunset over Trinidad. The quality and presentation of the food is generally of a higher standard than at other Cuban restaurants, however the flavour combinations are a little 'unusual' to say the least. Whilst I enjoyed lamb with mustard, it's commonly and widely known as a condiment that accompanies beef and would have been better applied as such. It's not like there's a shortage of mint in Cuba, given all the mojitos available. To their credit, the wine list is far superior to that of most other restaurants I visited in my 2 weeks travelling around Cuba. The buffet option feels like it cheapens the place slightly and it would feel more high-end if it were simply an al a carte venue, which stops me awarding 5 stars.
