Very pleasant, historical and beautiful place. People are very kind and supportive. Was impressed by pleasant ambient of old narrow streets with coffee smell and delectable architectural beauty of old buildings like Garcia Lorca Opera Theatre, Cathedral, Capitol.

It's like going back in time and seeing old structure buildings, stone streets narrow passages, live music everywhere, restaurants everywhere, classic cars and nice people both locals and tourist. It's a great spot for photographers, videographers and anyone who wants to catch a piece of history.
One complaint I have is the food, most of places we ate the food lack taste and the amount of food was too little, I hope they improve in this area since this was the main complaint I and everyone had in the plane that was coming back.response / report this review -

My Habana calles estrechas grandes balcones , edificios de los años 30 40 y 50 con bastante deterioro una ciudad increíble detenida en el tiempo

Time warp!. Go and visit before it's all boutiques and hotels. People are still friendly and curious about the visitors. They are poor but full of pride. Bus trips are 1 peso and full of interesting people. Lots of fun queuing for Arroz fritos con Pollo fritos for 1 cuc. Then stop at Hemingway favorite haunt Floridito for daiquiris or mojito. Not much to buy at the supermarkets so remember to bring favorite snacks, bring enough to share with the locals. Certainly gained a new appreciation for our way of life in the United states.

There's so much to see here and every corner you walk around throws up another grand old building, an interesting little shop, a museum or studio, a music venue, one of the hundreds of new little restaurants, people busking in the street and so much more. You can lose yourself just wandered up and down these beautiful old streets.
